Do not mark jsoftware.com mailing list as spam
Also I have a filter to move these to a folder, but when making "not spam" the filter is not applied and message goes into inbox.

Hi there. If a sender is automatically being sent to the Spam folder, filters do not apply to it. Only emails going to Inbox by default can be filtered to a specific folder.
