old format, please!!!!!
In the email list, there is too much space!!! I can only see have the amount of email as before. On my large screen desktop, it's just an annoyance, but on my 13" laptop and the wide-screen monitor at work, you can only get 5 or 6 emails displayed with the current email displayed on the bottom. Please have more than one version, and have a version with less whitespace between the emails in the list!!

I have tried to reinstate a blocked contact but this option no longer appears under settings menu. very dissappointing.
Please reinstate blocked email addresses confirm/ non confirm within the settings menu.
in order to unblock a user, click on Settings > More Settings > Security and privacy and next to the blocked email address tap the Trash icon.

I have three email accounts for various businesses. Now I have to sign into each one rather than have them display and select. It was so ea
I have various personal and business emails in Yahoo. It used to be a piece of cake to switch between them. Now it is next to impossible. I have to verify and sign in to each individual email account and it is too time consuming. Ridiculous. Fix it please or return to the devil we already know.
To add another mailbox to Yahoo please follow the steps:
1. Click the Settings icon on the right side of the email page
2. Select More settings
3. Click Mailboxes on the left side.
4. Click Add Mailbox.
5. Enter the email address | click Next.
In the pop-up window that appears, enter the password for the account you’re adding.
Follow the steps in the pop-up window.
6. Click Done.
7. Click Save. -
Don't remove tabbed emails from top of list
The older Yahoo Mail format allowed multiple opened emails to be tabbed on the top of the list. This WAS VERY USEFUL as a reminder of emails that I needed to pay attention too - later. Now they just disappear into thin air.
To allow tabs in Yahoo Mail, go to Settings, scroll down and toggle on the ‘’Message tabs’’ option.

How about includng a way to filter emails. Can't find a button or menu for it in the new version, which I've been forced to adopt. As usu.
Cannot filter emails...
To create filters in Yahoo Mail, go to Settings-More settings-Filters.

I can no longer log into my email on my own computer without a code?
I am incredibly angry that I can no longer type in MY email and MY password without a bunch of steps to actually log in. I have to check my email several times a day on a laptop and a desktop. How is this better? What is going on? After 20 years do I really have to get a new account.

In the New version of Yahoo Mail, you can sort by Sender from the dropdown Sort menu above the message list.

navigation tabs above messeges
i lost my mail, contact, calendar tabs above my inbox view. now when i click on the calendar on far right, it won't open..UGH help please

Navigation after deleting a message
Clicking an email open and deleting it, would've expected the navigation to return to the previous page (inbox items). Now it showed the next message right after deleting, might be confusing if the emails are the same title replies, since the user didn't navigate to the other message in the first place.
To change this setting, go to Settings-Viewing email-After moving a message.

Logging in MAIL dumps me in yahoo news.
New email login puts me on yahoo news, then I must click on the mail icon. If I wanted yahoo news, I would go there. Please give us the option to go directly to mail when logging on.
Please go to mail.yahoo.com from the desktop computer and sign in. This way you should see your Inbox and not the news.

Missing icons in Inbox make it harder to navigate
I hate that I can no longer click a search icon in the inbox to find all emails from that sender. The same goes for the missing trash icon as well. Managing email is now very cumbersome. It might be time to look for a better email provider.
These icons are still available, you’ll have to hover over the emails and you will see the magnifying icon and the trash icon and you can click them.

Open my mail directly to inbox page. I do not like to be one click away from my inbox. Please fix this!

Make sure you access your Yahoo Mail by going to mail.yahoo.com and that you have the ‘’stay signed in’’ option checked on the sign in page. Also, keep in mind that if you clear your cache, cookies and history, you will need to sign in again.

Basic to Full Featured Impossible
Moving from "Basic" mode to "Full Featured" mode is near impossible. Takes a PhD. I can't figure it out.

stop redirecting away from mail and telling me where to vote
Whenever I try to change email accounts I get directed to a Yahoo page telling me where to vote. I've already voted (thank you) and I just want to read my email. It happens every time today. Way to go Yahoo, keep it up and I'll be forced to abandon you bunch of yahoos.

Where is the log out button
How do I log out of yahoo mail? Am I on an embargo ( get in and stay in)?

Where did the Log Out link go? How do I log out of my email???
Where did you move the Log Out? How am I supposed to log out of my email???
You should be able to log out by hovering over the Profile Picture icon and selecting Sign Out.

The new email buffers forever, has delayed reactions when clicking on a box to delete or read an email. It seems to get slower.
Just leave the email alone and go back to Classic Email.

Navigation Glitchy
On the mobile app I am unable to go back 1, 2, 3, or 4 days to search for an email I need to respond to. The app keeps adding in emails while I am navigating. This causes me to get lost. Also you keep asking for my list of contacts. It will be a cold day in **** before I consent to do that. It is none of your business. I stay with yahoo because everyone knows this as my email. But I can just as easily go to gmail. Please stop.
The Mail app syncs with our servers to retrieve new messages as they come in. It might help to search for the email using the Search bar at the top. This will keep the list from getting updated.
