Turn off Deals/Coupons from this message
I pay for ad-free Yahoo mail and I do NOT appreciate these danged deals and coupons showing up in the emails I CHOOSE to receive from certain vendors. I don't give a dang about what Yahoo thinks is a deal and I will NEVER EVER EVER shop for anything from any ad that is forced on me by Yahoo. NEVER. It's wrong that Yahoo is cramming this **** in front of me in my emails, especially when I pay for ad-free mail. And let's be clear, these "deals" are just another form of marketing and ad spam. Stop it!!!!!

Stop blocking account because of VPN use - my IP address may change but it is still me!
I've started using a VPN for security, and Yahoo keeps assuming that my IP address changes must mean 'someone else' is validly logging-in as me. Please stop insisting that I have to change password every time. And when you report "Your account MAY have been compromised", always allow me to say "NO, it hasn't" instead of Yahoo insisting that I HAVE to change my password on all devices.

In our business email, we have 3 email addresses all going into one box. WE CANNOT HAVE ALL OF THEM CALLED ME !!!! They need to show the sender's name! Everybody knows their name, they don't need to see ME to know it is their email. This has been done before, corrected, and now here it is again. DO NOT TRY TO MIMIC THE PHONES! Email should work efficiently also on computers.

security issue
With the old e-mail I could rest the mouse pointer on the senders name and see the senders e-mail address. It was a helpful security feature to reveal spam senders. I can't believe new yahoo doesn't do that. If that is no longer available I will have to find a new e-mail provider.

A software version number should be available to the end user. I found one a long time ago in classics past, but do not know how to get it now. Note that it should be unique for all changes of software, small or large. I am sure that the software is changing all the time, in small or large increments. AB0006.

Too many INBOX categories

We do not need to see all of these useless categories.

There is a serious glitch in your new email format. In the past, an email would have the person's name. Now it has only the first name.
Your new email format gives only the first name in the notification. For instance, if you have a friend named Keith such and such, and you see that a Keith has sent you an email but does not give last name,then it is suspicious and should not be opened . It happened to me today and I deleted a perfectly good email because of it. You must give the last name so that I can vet the email.

Stop mail from auto sync to my contact list
Have a turn off for auto sync for iPhone. Every piece of garbage mail auto sync’s there stupid contact info to my contacts. I have thousands of contacts from every stupid company of the face of the planet and it so annoying I’m thinking I need a different mail app.

Make It Possible to Find the Yahoo Page for Reporting Raw Email Headers for Spam
It used to be easy to report the raw headers of email spam, which is necessary when the email is spoofing the user's own account, to Yahoo.
But now, it looks as if Yahoo has done a really good job of creating an endless search for countless users who simply want to paste in the raw headers of impersonating email spammers. It's impossible to find any info.
Is simply marking the mail "Spam" really going to not block legitimate emails as well in this instance? If that's really the case, well then, why in heaven would Yahoo not simply share…
