Colors are very blase' and the themes are boring!

Add purple and lavender for email color settings. We need more than just 5 or so. And lighter ones, too.

Need more themes for people who are colored blind.

New themes make things way to hard to read. Old themes with nebulous backgrounds and black writing were clear and defined. no choices with new format. Medium setting is no better with white and black, which is why i don't use basic mail. please, please let me go back to backgrounds which let me see.

NEW THEME COLORS

I had the old format set up so great. These new theme colors force us into either using all white (NO!!) or having the colors too dark. The old adage don't fix what isn't broken comes to mind.

why isn't there a choice for an uncluttered, business like look? I want to read my mail, not be distracted and annoyed by dark bold colors and themes.

I don't like the themes. The colors are too dark. There aren't enough choices. Blah!

Many people (perhaps most) do not realize that those who are prone to migraines -- specifically ocular migraines -- cannot read light letters on a dark field. The letters jump around for us and give us problems and can even trigger a migraine. This is well documented in the medical literature. I would think that the "pros" who design these major platforms should know this.
It's fine to offer that as one of many options, but that sort of layout should never, ever predominate. Multiple versions of dark(er) letters on light(er) fields should be the dominant themes. Yahoo -- you need to do some more serious research on ergonomics, among other things.
Thank you.

DISAGREE. The colors are not dark enough. Need solid colors, not "pastels" that look all hazy. Black background with pragmatic white or monochrome-green fonts is the way to go!

The only thing that I'd change is make more background colors. Like black or red. Everything else, good job Yahoo!

Allow to set more background colors and gradients. Previous Yahoo version was more nice

The old themes, with real pictures are better. The new ones are too stark. Be like Google and let us upload our own.
Yes, there are too dark and should be more transparent.

I agree with many comments already submitted (though the threads have been closed so that I can't add my comments to them or vote). The theme selection is very limited and boring. Even if Yahoo doesn't want to invest in creating more themes, you should at least let people create their own by uploading photos or JPGs.

Facing lots of problems in opening of the attachments preferably in pdf. formats.
Everything should appear separately in preview window with downloading option for more than one attachment in folder. -
