comments reply
If someone replies to a post I entered on Yahoo comments, I'll get a notification email with a "reply" button in it. Clicking that button takes me to the article, but after a few seconds the page refreshes with all the news story links at the bottom of the page, AND COLLAPSES THE COMMENTS SECTION. This effectively hides the chance to reply because it is now buried in sometimes thousands of comments. Somebody made a change and didn't test this properly. Please fix.

two part authorisation
Please stop using "prove you are not a robot" as a method of checking who is signing in. I often have to take 3 or 4 attempts when you show some pictures as a corner of a fire hydrant or traffic light just touches the corner of one square and your system system disagrees! Please use the same system as Google and my bank, when I log on you send a code to my cell/mobile phone and I input it to your log on system. Job done. takes 10 seconds.
Thanks
Ian

STOP using 2FA as a sneaky way to try and sell upgrde to mail - you are driving customers away by trying to monetize a piece of ****.
Just stop the false "something is wrong" flimsy excuse. You are making a bad name for yourself. Can't even SIGN IN to post this without your friggin 2FA.... very aggrivating

Edit / Undo Functionality in Yahoo Mail
Without an Edit/Undo button in Yahoo Mail on iPhone, users can accidentally delete emails they are actively writing. Sometimes lengthy emails are accidentally highlighted during writing and deleted. Today it happened to me for the 2nd or 3rd time in my life as a Yahoo Mail user. Whenever it does happen, the context of the email have been extremely valuable to me, and was suddenly lost and irretrievable.

Listen to your users, allow us to change the format of inbox to stop the stupid Today, Tomorrow, etc.
Stop with the stupid Today, Yesterday, etc. listing of emails. At least give us an option to change it. New Yahoo+ Sucks... stop taking away options and forcing us into some idiot programmers idea of "functional and cool". Product managers need to be more aware of user needs and stop these changes. Just because you can do something, doesn't mean you should.

Email "Reply" vs "Reply All"
When reading an email, "Reply to Sender' icon should appear by default, NOT where it requires one to scroll to see it.
Allowing users to rearrange the icons to their liking would be the best solution.45th ranked -
Mail transferred to Trash folder & deleted from there were restored to in box - Yahoo doesnt accept notice of programming error
on 1/5/23 i began transferring e-mails from my in box to the trash folder & noticed that months of mail that had been previously transferred to trash & deleted from there were restored to my in box. I'd like to report this programming problem but Yahoo is essentially closed to feedback. Hopefully it isn't a hack to yahoo that's growing in severity. How about a button to do that, just report a problem. Maybe they can catch it before it gets worse & involves more people

Please allow me to set up a legacy contact if I die
Apple, Google, and Facebook have ways to give family/friends access to your account after you die (or aren't able to use an account). It would be great if Yahoo could do this as well.

non standard font spam
Give me the ability to filter email spam based on font or character set. The vast majority of the persistent spam I'm receiving is delivered in a non standard font or character set, it would be simple to filter them if I had the option to do so.
