The optional new backgrounds are a nightmare for people with reduced vision.
White text is hard to read on ANY background. San serif text is harder to read than serif or semi-serif fonts. Why do you think Times Roman is the gold standard for documents??? So, when you put a white san serif font on a dark background, those of us with senior eyesight are hammered! I was completely comfortable with my existing page layout, and want you to return me to it. If I later want to cruise your new options, I know how to get there.
