I am an expat in Vietnam. My other mail, hinsaigon changed to fully in Vietnamese and I do not understand anything. How can I change it ?

The language setting on an account is determined by where the account was registered and can’t be changed currently. If your language changed suddenly to something, let us know on our forums and we can investigate this further for you:

Yahoo, stop trying to be or think you are smart by showing the local language of where people signed up. every time I log in it all goes **** up and changes to Chinese. I may be in Hong Kong but I do not read Chinese at all. Logging out and back in doesn't do ****. This is soooo ******* annoying. Best thing you can do is put a setting so once it is set no matter where you log in it goes to the language you have set and not to the local language of which yahoo you sign in on.

As stated, I live in the USA and don't want to see Spanish ads. In case you did not know, English is the official language of the United States of America. Look it up and you can verify this fact.

In the login screen and inside the Yahoo Mail interface, there should be a LANGUAGE selection, so eve if you enter to your account from a foreign link like in Yahoo Groups, you can select ans USE your desired language for Yahoo Mail.

In general IMPOSING restrictions to users and deciding for them what they should get is a terrible and stupid idea. Add the language option back ASAP!!!
We know what language we want and need. UI language should not be related to the location OR what news feed we get.If I take my laptop to russia or france or china or greece I don't want my interface magically changing.
Please add the language option back!!

None of the categories covers my issue here.
I wanted to provide feedback to an e-mail and not to a community, but it looks like Yahoo wants all of the users complains to be displayed even if not positive!
I do not see an option to provide feedback on the service I receive - I have to choose from categories none of which is in the scope of my issue with the Yahoo service.This morning I received a message regarding the new setting in the light of GDPR. The issue with this is that I received the message in German - a language I do not speak without a translator - online or human.
You can imagine my struggle. Did this happen because you cognitive analytics are not sophisticated enough to not being able to draw the conclusion that German is far from a language I speak with ease, or is it because I might be inclined to accept something I do not understand by simply clicking the OK button? -

The View Section is perfect.
But it doesn't support recognizing multi-languages rather than just English receipts and stuff.
Yahoo, it should be easy if you guys optimize machine learning or format filtering in the system. -

I have always been using my yahoo mails in English, and that's my setting, as I use it for global/international communications, however about 1 month ago my yahoo mail account was switched to Indonesian language without my consent. In the past I could select language I want in the account preference setting, however it is now removed. Can anyone help? I tried to get help from Yahoo support team but the respond was "your account was registered in Indonesia hence Indonesian language", and when I tried to ask further after a few messages exchanged, the Yahoo Support team arrogantly informed that "case is closed". What????
Can anyone help please.

It is absolutely impossible to change the language settings. Yahoo, don't you know most people on this planet speaks languages other than English? Do something about it!
