Stop asking me to use my phone to log in
I use many different devices to read my emails, but I do not want to use my phone to authorize the log in every time

I didn't give anyone permission to post my phone number. I want it taken off of this account right now. Otherwise I will drop this account immediately.

I really, really dislike having to use my phone with a verification code EVERY time is sign in. Time to switch to gmail.
Its like yahoo is trying to drive people away with this super annoying security garbage.

I should not have to enter an access key EVERYTIME i want to view my email from my computer. Its a pain everytime i want to see something i have to grab my phone, get an access key and wait for a text and enter it in... i mean, why did this suddenly become an issue? If i click the 'remember me' or 'stay logged in' why do i have to log in again with additional security? all youre doing is managing to keep me out of my email (especially since i still have issues of another person with a similar still gaining access to my emails. how about you keep him out and let me in?

I would like to use Yahoo and check my email without using a phone at all. Cell phones are a last resort for me. I much prefer using a laptop or a computer in my office. It's a pain to have to verify every time I use a different device.

I want you to guess how frustrating it is to have to jump through hoops to use A COMPLETELY UNRELATED DEVICE to log in to my mail account.
Then quadruple your guess.
Sometimes my phone isn't logged in either. Sometimes my phone isn't in my pocket. Once my phone was temporarily suspended.
I LOVE that you are taking security seriously. It's a great idea. But the implementation sucks.
Take your QA peoples' phones away and THEN have them log in. Odds are good your dev team will be lynched. Nice try, but no cigar.

Please get rid of this phone log in, and go back to just logging in from my keyboard. It is annoying, and quite problematic. Cell signal is an intermittent thing here in the WNC mountains.
If this can be switched off, please let me know how.
Thanks. -

I logged into ymail on my computer but then many times it wants me to confirm with a code sent to my phone. No one else uses this computer. I don't understand this I can't seem to separate important personal e-mails from all the rest. I could not remember my password nor see how to change it. overall impression of yahoo out of ten, less than 5 for sure
