I mistakenly marked an e-mail as Spam
I accidently marked an e-mail as Spam and it wasn't Spam. What can I do? I want to keep receiving those e-mails and I'm afraid I won't now. Please help!!!

The best way to resolve this is to mark the emails as “Not Spam”, that way you can train the spam filter to better identify important emails in the future. Also if you use a mobile device or email client to access your mail over IMAP, please check the Spam filters in that application, to make sure it’s not marking important emails as spam.

Tell me how to avoid emails going to my spam folder even though they are my most contacted email addresses

I am getting so sick of Yahoo putting emails from my contacts into SPAM that I am seriously thinking of leaving Yahoo after over 20 years. I see lots of other people have raised the same concern - and I can't 'vote' for them

I am MORE than frustrated w yahoo & their incompetence to resolve my complaints … most have been about dumping ANYTHING THEY WISH into spam folder! I say, “restore” or “NOT spam” & most disappear into cyber-space! UNPROFESSIONAL! Yahoo is antiquated & incompetent!! How does one eliminate the GD spam folder ENTIRELY???
It makes ZERO sense to have one, when it deletes e-mz that ARE IMPORTANT to Me! -

Why is it you can not fix the Block emails option. Just return the settings to the way they were so I can block certain email.
Also fix the spam folder from getting my regular email. -

It disturbs me NO END that y'all are now red tagging EMAILS FROM MY CHURCH, TO WHICH I'VE BELONGED FOR 4 YEARS, AS SPAM. Do it again and I'll start looking for another provider.
And yes, it'll be inconvenient for me to change MY ONLY EMAIL ADDRESS AFTER 30-some years. That should tell you something about how insulting your stupid warning is. Y'all need a grip 'cause y'ain't got none.
PS - It also bothers me that the only way y''all will allow me to LOG INTO MY OWN, PRE-EXISTING ACCOUNT IS TO AGREE TO GOD KNOWS WHAT terms that take HOW MANY YEARS to read and comprehend????

I want email having "ABCXYZ" in the subject line to never end up in the Spam folder. Thy can be from many different users, but have a certain element of subject line in common.

I received an Acknowledgement of a Phishing complaint from abuse@outlook.com.
I have a filter that if that address sent the email, it goes to my INBOX!
You delivered the message, but tagged it as "SUSPECTED SPAM" ~~
How many times must I mark a MICROSOFT address as SAFE, for your Artificial Idiot to accept it as SAFE??
If the address has a filter to send it to my Inbox, WHY does your system repeatedly mark it as Suspicious??How do I get rid of a duplicate filter?? I can't delete it.

Over and over and over I click "NOT SPAM" on the same legitimate emails but you continue to PUT THEM IN SPAM. Is it really that difficult to get this straight? I'm sick of missing emails only to find them days or weeks or more later. To add to it you don't even let me know when there's something IN the spam folder. I assume a good email system works correctly meaning I shouldn't have to remember to check there every day; apparently this doesn't apply to Yahoo.

I cannot "VOTE" on any of the ideas that I tried to click, regarding SPAM. I have TOOOOOO many emails going to Spam that is not Spam. I would just like to turn the filter OFF, rather than have to search the Spam folder. and I want the OLD version of YAHOO Mail

Several of the email my job recruiter sent me went straight to spam. One was a notification for pre-employment drug testing, another was explanation for my job offer, there was even an invitation for interview in there, and that's just what I was able to recover last night.
I was lucky to have sorted out the situation with my recruiter before my job was jeopardized but losing my drug test notification could have been detrimental for me. I have been job searching in the past several month, and now it makes me wonder what else has been lost in the spam filter.
Something is very wrong with your spam filter, one email from the same person on the same day could be spam while the other goes in the inbox. This is a serious issue for an email service, please fix this before it causes real problems for more people!!

For the last two years Yahoo has been directing emails sent to me to spam. Many of these are NOT spam but are of a political nature. I have been using the filter feature for the last two months to direct messages from the senders to my inbox. For the last two days the filter option has disappeared and I can no longer direct Yahoo how to send messages from certain senders to my inbox and NOT spam. The Yahoo system is broken and appears to be engaging in a form of censorship.

And by the way Yahoo. C -- R -- A -- P is not a swear word. Use your brain!!!!!

By the number of complaints it is very obvious that no one at Yahoo gives a **** about it users. STOP being so stupid Yahoo. Let the smarter people, the one who actually get the emails, decide what is spam and what is not spam. STOP TRYING TO THINK FOR US. You are not smart enough to think for me!

Yes I know that it is possible for a spam message to use the word "interview" but the risk of someone missing out on a potential employment opportunity is too great.

Please, please, please can we have the ability to turn off the junk mail folder. I am constantly missing emails as they have gone to junk email. I don't have any junk email going to the folder at all. Why can we not have the option to turn this off please? I see this has been a popular topic before but it said idea now closed so I couldn't vote for it, hence entering it as a new idea again.
