I mistakenly marked an e-mail as Spam
I accidently marked an e-mail as Spam and it wasn't Spam. What can I do? I want to keep receiving those e-mails and I'm afraid I won't now. Please help!!!

The best way to resolve this is to mark the emails as “Not Spam”, that way you can train the spam filter to better identify important emails in the future. Also if you use a mobile device or email client to access your mail over IMAP, please check the Spam filters in that application, to make sure it’s not marking important emails as spam.

How do I stop emails from going into spam. I mark them all as not spam and they always end up in spam anyway. Even when I reply to the email so the send is my own account, it falls into spam which is weird. I would assume having me as a sender should not place the email into the spam folder. Thanks

Unless you want or can fix the SPAM filters that mark normal emails as SPAM, add the ability to manually mark emails as not SPAM.

Your spam filter is garbage. For the last 3-4 months I've manually moved Motortrend News letters from Spam to my inbox. Indicating it's NOT SPAM. Do you think your spam filter would finally clue in that it is miscategorizing legitimate emails as spam? Not a chance. You can't all be this dense?

I have subscribe to a mail list, but the majority land in spam. Email com from staff and students, but the institution is always the same.
Please provide an accept for all emails from eg. prairie.edu confirming the organization is NOT SPAMMING me.

Apparently Yahoo does this internally as I am unable to see it in my Spam folder. Last year I already performed whitelist in Yahoo Mail, create mail filters for trusted addresses or mark messages as 'Not Spam'. Any suggestions are are appreciated.

Spam folder is taking even the filters mails, spam is not working,
Provide the option to deactivate the spam folder and get all mails in inbox -

Lot of valid mails I already marked (whitelisted) land in Spam.
Respect my settings.
How can I switch off this wrong Spam filtering???? -

Spam filter should follow my manual instructions. If I mark something as Non-spam, it should not ignore my decision.
Of course if no manual setting, just use the filter... but my manual settings should be followed first. -

I am going to add my voice to the many others who have commented on this. Your spam filter has too many false positives. You really need to allow users to disable the spam filtering. Too many legitimate emails are not be delivered to my 3rd party email client because they get stuck in your overzealous spam filter. Please, please, please, if you are not going to fix your spam filter, then please let us turn it off. - Thanks

Please give me the option to opt out of your spam filtering. Clicking "Not Spam" on an email is useless. Emails from the same sender keep going back into spam. PLEASE LET ME DECIDE.

A google group email continually goes into spam. The "From" address is in my contacts, I keep clicking "not spam" when I find email from this group in my spam email box. The filters do not allow me to have this email go directly to my Inbox. Instead, I have to create a new folder to receive these email. How do I get them to go directly to my email INBOX?

I run a couple of lists via Google Groups, with a few yahoo and aol recipients. An increasing number of those recipients keep getting *legitimate* group emails in their spam-boxes, which is super annoying. None of google's outgoing servers are on blocklists to my knowledge, they send proper SMTP envelopes, and there's nothing fishy about the content. WTF?? Fix it, NOW.

+1, facing this issue too.

Google Group emails marked Not Spam still going to Spam folder.
Adding contacts doesn't help. Adding a filter to redirect the email doesn't help either.
Quick search shows many have faced this issue.
Critical emails are being missed and before long, we will advise our clients to fully switch off of Yahoo mail.
Please escalate to Spam team ASAP.

I accidentally marked an email as Spam and now that sender can't email me anymore, it bounces back to them as Email Feedback Report (Complaint). I emptied out the Spam folder and don't have any emails from them to mark as Not Spam. How am I supposed to remove that sender from being marked as Spam? I checked all the settings and can't find anywhere to do it.

SPAM. some of my important messages are sent to spam. After moving the message by using your NOT SPAM BUTTON., next time the same sender message goes to SPAM, which is frustrating.
