Suddenly deluged with spam in my inbox. Started yesterday. Why? Way more spam in my in box in just a few hours than I usually get in the spam folder in 24 hours. What happened?

"This message is from a sender in your blocked list"
Why does this message even exist? I unsubscribe, block and try to unsubscribe at the bottom of the message multiple times a day. Too many of those take me to another spam site or do nothing! -

Too much spam in inbox...I keep marking 10-15 items a day a spam and spam keeps coming from same or similar posts!

STOP allowing users to clone email addresses in order to send spam. They use an invalid return path, so can't be blocked.

There has been a sudden influx of spam emails getting past the filter. I'm talking dozens a day. I mark every single one as spam and yet they still keep coming through. Yahoo's spam filter needs an overhaul.

I used to get around 10 spam emails. Now I get about 30, 40, 50. Why?

Define "irony:
In response to the MASSIVE spam problem that Yahoo has manage to flat out IGNORE for YEARS, I set up a sub-routine to respond to spammers as the relentless amount of repetitive spam come in each and every day, and the Yahoo system actually blocks my messages and says "you can't send this BECAUSE IT LOOKS LIKE SPAM"????? Way to go, guys! You are totally on it!! Brilliant!!! SMH -

I'm getting the same, constant stream of spam that Yahoo isn't picking up. It's the same phrase of 'Endurance Auto Repairs' and comes from many different email addresses. I block one, only for it to come from another a few hours later.
I'm at the point where I'm wondering why you're incapable of picking it up and deleting it, and considering disconnecting my mysterion -mike account from my email clients. It's ridiculous. Spam, spam, spam. -

I am extremely frustrated because my inbox is overran with spam, about 100 emails a day and the filters are not catching it. It’s so frustrating. I spent two hours unsubscribing and it literally made no difference. Not only am I still getting 100+ spam emails a day, I am still getting them with the same fake business name, even though the email domain is actually different.
I logged in to the support website and searched for help, and all the replies ads asking to charge me $5 for their “Mail+” for improved domain filtering However, I am not going to pay Yahoo! for my account when you scrape my data and use that same account information to market stuff to me and everyone else to the tunes of millions to billions of dollars.
So I am literally about to walk away from Yahoo, which has been my first and primary email account since I first signed up in 1996, if I cannot find a free way to effectively get this under control. This is a hill I will figuratively die on!

The spam filter isn't catching really obvious spam - ones with symbols in the subject line and crazy long email addresses. It's not learning even though I've marked these emails as spam.

Why isn't there some why to delete SPAM items?? I have used up the 500 "spaces" for emails marked as SPAM and now can't mark anymore as SPAM.
I should be able to clean it and start over or there shouldn't be a limit on number of emails I can mark as SPAM. -

I'm flabbergasted at what's going on with our emails now. We can't block all the **** like we used to, now they're coming in with my regular business emails. I'm over it.

What the **** is going on with all of the spam emails coming through? I'm getting ready to get rid of yahoo because i'm overwhelmed with the amount of **** coming through now.
If yahoo doesn't care about protecting our email community than it's time to move on.

The word it keeps removing is the correct word for male genitals. If they want me to call a p-nis a d-ck instead, I could use that word instead.
I am just sick that Yahoo! is shoving male enhancement ads in my face.
