The spam filter isn't catching really obvious spam - ones with symbols in the subject line and crazy long email addresses. It's not learning even though I've marked these emails as spam.

Why isn't there some why to delete SPAM items?? I have used up the 500 "spaces" for emails marked as SPAM and now can't mark anymore as SPAM.
I should be able to clean it and start over or there shouldn't be a limit on number of emails I can mark as SPAM. -

I'm flabbergasted at what's going on with our emails now. We can't block all the **** like we used to, now they're coming in with my regular business emails. I'm over it.

What the **** is going on with all of the spam emails coming through? I'm getting ready to get rid of yahoo because i'm overwhelmed with the amount of **** coming through now.
If yahoo doesn't care about protecting our email community than it's time to move on.

The word it keeps removing is the correct word for male genitals. If they want me to call a p-nis a d-ck instead, I could use that word instead.
I am just sick that Yahoo! is shoving male enhancement ads in my face.

I do not identify as male, and it says Female in my account info. So why are there ads in with my messages for male enhancement products?
There is no way to remove them. I find them highly offensive. As a transsexual woman (who is not queer or LGBT, only a woman with a birth defect who has Conservative values), I am not obsessed with the part I was never supposed to have at all. To me, a p-nis is a symbol for all that is wrong with the world. It is a symbol of oppression and domination. It is a symbol of promiscuity and sexual violence. Yet, I see Rex MD every 20 posts.
I'm not a man and not a [loose woman], so why should I be forced to look at something that is against everything I am for? And it is degrading even for men because seeing that ad implies that every man is broken and needs the blue pill to fix them, and implies that every man is so insecure that they care about nothing but their d--k.
Advertise pills to make it invert or fall off and I might be interested.

Lately my spam folder is overwhelmed with spam. It seems that Yahoo has decided to try and force an upgrade on my just to protect my privacy as even my inbox is receiving more spam. I've been with Yahoo for probably more than 20 years and I'm beggining to wonder if it's still worth it? I also have a Google business email account which is much better than Yahoo in many ways. I'm thinking seriousely about moving completely to Google.

I am now getting 30 odd spam emails a day some actually getting into my inbox. What the heck are the Yahoo team doing to keep our mailboxes secure?

Remove the large "drop-down" ads from the inbox. Extremely annoying. You can go back to the one-liners if you want to, but this new way of showing ads is enough to make me go to some other form of communication!

Gambling sites promoted via Spam need to be blocked FOREVER!
They are a major cause of people getting into financial trouble and potential suicides among those who fall foul of their promises. Have some humanity for those suffering and do something meaningful for a change.
For example, have I had more Spam emails from various domains than I had emails in my deleted folder on multiple occasions - it makes no sense that you allow these to filter through to individuals. -

block more than 1000 SPAM EMAILS. THIS LIMIT IS A HEADACHE. GETTING SO MANY SPAMS DAILY FROM NEW EMAIL AND I CANNOT EVEN BLOCK THEM DUE TO THIS LIMIT. THIS LIMIT IS VERY OLD AND MUST BE INCREASED KEEPING THE CURRENT SPAMMING IN MIND. MORE OR LESS IT SHOULD BE UNLIMITED OR ATLEAST 1,00,000

When composing a message, technical in nature that is in response to a received email, when your detection mechanism decides that it is spam, while it is addressed to a single individual seems wrong.
It seems that your assessment includes the attached file and presumably you are aware that a script in many coding languages use $ as a variable marker.
I understand the reason you seek to curb the use of your service to send out spam, perhaps allow for a single recipient and then require the sender to confirm that it is not spam......

please make it user friendly whenever need to show the tab , otherwise let it go off the info or setting column which is on right side of the window screen.
-
Suresh Kamalanathan commented
why your email setting tabs one third of the size of window column screen blocking the reading panel of an email , see attached screenshot unable to remove this blank tab which is unnecessarily being on window screen all time

When blocking SPAM emails, the SPAM detection should be limited to the @*** section and not the pre @ name as the name often changes yet the @*** remains the same, hence blocking @*** will catch changes in name.

And why has the junk mail filter stopped working? Have the attackers found a new way to avoid filters?
