blocking ips
I really only use my yahoo email account for times when I need to give an email to access a service or register a product. Most of this is because yahoo has never been as good as gmail for me at reducing spam. I understand you wish to provide some incentive to get people to pay, but it seems like allowing me to manually block an domain name and ip address in terms of emails would help yahoo and me. Win win. If lots of people are requesting to block an ip address / domain name, then it is probably good evidence they are spamming. Helps yahoo. If i have manually chosen to block an ip address and domain name (especially when they are obviously domain names that are not legit) I should be able to do so, even on a free account. Spam is no where near the issue with gmail for me as it is with this account that I am trying to clean up.

Hi there, the BEST way to get rid of spam is to mark these emails as spam. This works just like blocking, it prevents the email address/domain from coming to your Inbox. Marking as spam is free! It's part of basic Yahoo Mail. Hope this clarifies any confusion! Thanks!
