Restore Deleted Emails After Inactivity
Many people are upset that you've deleted all of their emails after 12 months of inactivity. My account was started in early 2000s and I had a medical emergency where I was unable to use the account.
It would have been better for you to charge users a reasonable fee to restore their emails rather than destroy decades of memories and personal information.
After you destroy the emails, there is no reason left for potential customers to pay for additional services. They will hate everything about Yahoo afterwards and not visit any of your websites. This was not a good business decision.

If your account has had no activity for 365 days, then the account is deactivated. We communicate this a few times including sending you an email to your alternative email account, so make sure that is updated. If you need help reinstating the account, contact our CC team at help.yahoo.com. They have the tools to help with issues. Hope this helps!
