Ads with fake checkboxes are deceptive!
I've noticed a lot more ads in the email folder/list view that have fake checkboxes. If you are trying to clean up emails, it is easy to accidentally click on one of these ads and open a new window/tab. I see this as a deceptive practice on the part of Yahoo Mail because it creates a perception that a customer is purposefully going to that ad. I recommend that you remove the fake checkboxes on ads. Thanks for listening!

Why doesn't yahoo protect its users for free from ads that appear like emails like Abner James which target seniors for fraud or extortion of money, deliberately looks like emails but are malicious ads that take you to a web page to hack your computer, the user attempts to delete it but it is not an email you can't flag it as spam or even report it to Yahoo - but Gmail protects your inbox for free from these types of malicious fraudulent scams...why is that? Isn't this elder abuse. Does yahoo allow these malicious types of people to commit cybercrimes on seniors, is yahoo getting money from this? Does Yahoo partner with these criminals sending these malicious ads or malicious software/web pages to seniors?

Lately I get ads in my inbox that look like an e-mail except if you look very closely it says ad. There is a check box graphic with a name next to it but if you clock you are re-directed to another page. I use Edge browser and it always tells me it's a suspect url.

The ads that I see in my email threads are very misleading. They used to be distinguishable from my actual email and now they look just like an email message. They even have the check box next to them. Is this something that Yahoo Mail has done or is it that the advertisers are getting more clever with their appearance. If you can, please change it back. Thank you.

Ad scams are happening a lot right now on your email Inbox ads which don't have a report option. Trying to trick seniors into clicking. Fix it or a lawsuit is coming your way. You're allowing advertisers to create a fake looking email with checkbox like it's mail and a from name like Mae Wilson or John Smith and then a message like "Good News for -my city- Seniors" and the malicious link takes you to phishing scam sites. Should be easy to weed these ads out even with AI.

Do not allow ads that look like incoming mail. Today I have what looked like an incoming message but when I tried to click the box to select it, it was actually an ad disguised as an incoming message and it popped open a suspicious window with a ton of pop-ups which I quickly closed and I have malware scanning installed but I don't think you should allow ads that look just like an incoming message because even if you don't open the message, but are just trying to delete it there is no way to do so. Here is the link to the ad I am referring to

There are phishing ads being embedded into my inbox with names and no checkbox option in hopes that we will click the link. It is also changing the title so that it appears to be a personal email. There needs to be a fix for this.

I can't find any way to report scummy ads that are appearing in the top line of the inbox in the "classic" web mail interface. A couple of them are taking me to pages that are spoofing Yahoo in a phishing attempt.

STOP allowing ANY ADs appearing mixed in with my emails (Inbox, Deleted Items, Folders, etc) that have an image of a selection box on the left-hand side. They look TOO much like a valid email, but accidently clicking on them as I try to select emails to delete, inevitably opens a malicious website that, thank goodness, my anti-malware software has protected me from.
But....WHY are you allowing them to attempt to fool us like this? -

There was an Ad that showed up in my email box with a area to the left to click on it labeled Smith. I tried to remove it and a redirect pop up telling me I was infected with a virus. the Yahoo Mail Ad from smith is the virus. The statement gave the notice of senior benefits in my area.
