  1. open calendar automatically on right

I would like the calendar to open automatically on the right side when opening email and stay opened even when changing folders. Like it shows when I click on the Calendar icon on top right. Sorry, there is no option to attach screenshots!

  4. Calendar harder to use

Being the change to adding info into the calendar is harder to use. One is that it is smaller to add all info. Everything is in a smaller space and cramped all together.as the old style was easies to work with and in a bigger space. Please bring back the old wat of putting information into the calendar.

  5. Need a way to backup or download notes in Notepad (Calendar)

Notepad contents are hard to access from mobile phones and one needs the information offline from time to time. Need a way to "dump" (as simple text or pdf) all the notes. Could be a simple ZIP file containing one file for each note; OR one text file with all the notes. ZIP file approach would be VERY useful since separate notes would be in different files. This sounds like a simply matter since the Web UI queries the backend and gives a list of notes. A dump would simply do what the browser UI does, BUT add the contents…

  6. What I feared has arrived. "Improved"??? the calendar! Can't see at a glance what is on it. You have to click on it to see event.

Please let what is on calendar readable without opening. Guess this change is why yahoo forums stops in 2 days😏😡

  8. RE Yahoo Calendar -

    HI,
I love yahoo mail and calendar but would like the option of 4 weekly calendar reminders on a set day.

The reason for this is in the UK prescriptions from the doctor are renewed every 28 days (4 weeks) and I'm sure there are many like me who would love a reminder to go and collect them

  9. Can you add an option to customize the interval for a repeating event in Yahoo Calendar?

In addition to daily, weekly, monthly and yearly. For instance, every ten days. This is available on iPhone calendars and doesn't seem difficult to implement

YEEEES! Yahoo restored the former calendar format and features. I was about to drop Yahoo after many years of paid subscriptions because of the abysmal new format recently released that truncated event and no longer word wrapped entries nor expand the date cells as entries were added.
Thank Yahoo support for responding to comments about the recent restrictive changes to the calendar and restoring the former format!

  12. Bring back the old calendar

I am currently undergoing treatment for lung cancer and kidney failure. For this, I am seeing half a dozen different doctors. I keep track of these appointments on the calendar (doctor, time, meds, etc.) The new calendar is no longer in the wall calendar format, and now only indicates an event on any given day as a dot. Please tell me which dot is for which doctor and at what time? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE give me my old wall calendar back. Not trying to be dramatic, but this change could literally kill me.

  13. Allow the Web based mail to import Google Calendar!

I would like to access my Google calendar from within Yahoo web based mail that has calendars. I love your layout but it seems this is not possible currently! Also calendar on your android app would be good with that feature too!

  14. calendar app for iOS

A Yahoo calendar app for iOS would be very useful. I currently have my Yahoo calendar synced to the native iOS Calendar app on my iPad, I but would prefer a separate Yahoo calendar app. (Regarding mail, I much prefer the Yahoo Mail app over syncing to the native iOS Mail app. Similarly, I'm sure I would prefer a Yahoo calendar app to the native iOS Calendar app.)

Thank you for considering this request.

  15. Calendar Word Wrap

The previous version of Calendar would word wrap an event in monthly view. Now all events truncate on a single line with dots... if the event text does not fit on one line. Please restore the event word wrap function.

  19. NOOOOOO!!! Please don't mess with the calendar!!

    NOOOOOOOO!!!!
Now you guys are taking the traditional calendar away from us. After 20 years. NOOO!! Plz stop this!
I knew it. It was the ONLY part of Yahoo email that still worked as it was supposed to.

PLUS whatever you guys have done to the desktop version of Yahoo mail has caused it to slow down to a crawl.
I'm constantly getting messages at the top of browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Edge) "this page is running slow. What do you want to do?"
Can you believe I'm having to use my phone browser to type this. Phone browser, not the…
