Give us the option to delete permanently an email address that appears when typing in an email address in the compose email section. Its frustrating that email addresses that you dont use or will never use again continue to appear when you type in a different address so please give us the option to remove permanently.

why is it that my deceased dad's name is on my email ? my Cox account was changed over to reflect my name and mine only yet Yahoo continues using my dad's name with NO way of seeing how I can change it...please provide a link so that I can update the name on my account..should be simple in this day and age of computers..this was a horrible move by Cox to yahoo btw.....................

Hi there! Please check how large the attachments are because the sum of all attached files in a single message, both for incoming and outgoing email, must not exceed 25MB in total file size.

Yahoo mail is fast, but it is hammering on my CPU and GPU
Yahoo mail is fast, but when I'm in Yahoo Mail the CPU and GPU are hammered on, but as soon as I switch to another tab in the browser that isn't Yahoo Mail, the CPU and GPU revert to 0% from 30% for CPU and 30% for my GPU.
Yahoo mail is fast, but it is using upp enough power from my CPU and GPU to make the fan sound and it is annoying, because I can not focus with the sound.
This does not happen with Google mail, iCloud and Protonmail. Only with Yahoo.

There needs to be a read receipt option in Yahoo mail.
Email tracking is very important in this day and age with all the spam that we receive in our inboxes.

I have multiple email addreses. The system will not let me use the dropdown FROM to change return address.
The new email will not let me change the return email address using the FROM to select the return address I want to use. When I go to the old version, the system lets me chose the return address I want.

The Subject should be editable when replying
Please allow the Subject of emails being replied to to be editable again. By assuming that "Re:" should appear as the prefix of all replies as it is now (since a few months ago), Yahoo! is assuming that every user only ever writes messages in English. Wake up, Yahoo!.
P.S. Unfortunately, matching issues have all been closed (already).

composing email with contact
I used to be able to type a last name, or letters of an email, and yahoo would show suggestions based on people I have emailed before. Not anymore and its annoying. I email so much on a daily basis and having to remember email addresses is not logical. Bring it back or tell me what setting I need to change to fix it. Now I have to exit out of the email I'm trying to start, search emails for a name, bring up a past email, and copy and paste the email address I'm trying to send the new…
