AUTOSAVE - Bad problem!
Starting in Oct 2020, Autosave isn't working properly. Yahoo saves a new draft email, but later changes made to that draft don't get saved. Even when I wait 30 seconds or longer before closing the draft - to give Autosave a chance to work - it still doesn't save my changes. So when I open the draft again later, the original text is still there but the changes I made have been lost. I'm using a Fujitsu laptop and a Huawei Smartphone. The problem occurs on both appliances.

There should be a "save" button in yahoo email when writing a draft of an email.
There should be a "save" button in Yahoo email when writing a draft of an email. Please create one. I have to wait for several minutes when I want to save a copy of an email that I am writing for it to say "saved". This is inconvenient. I need for there to be a "save" button so that I can save drafts of my emails that I am composing when I want to.

When you are constructing a draft, if you accidently hit the trash bin icon in the lower right screen, it does not give you any safety message "Are you sure you want to permanently delete this draft?" , it just automatically permanently deletes it. There is no option to undo this mistake. I have been using yahoo for 25 years. I found forums complaining of this same problem from 10 years ago, and it's not fixed. For this reason I will be using gmail from now on.

Why doesn't the "compose E-Mail" function work exactly like a word processor? Why do I always have to type things in MS-Word to get it right, and then copy it over? And then the formatting is still all screwed up. Maybe the Yahoo people should be forced to use their own products so that they can see what problems exist.

Add a manual save for Draft emails. Auto save takes too many hours!
Give YOUR PAYING CLIENTS a WORKING autosave or manual save or both for draft emails.

If your email will not auto save a draft , can you physically save a draft?
Need to be able to save a draft myself. Yahoo takes 2 to 10 min to auto save.

Yahoo web based mail is awful and results in loss of work.
Offline drafts are more reliable. If I lose internet connection and refresh my page, all my work on my composed email is gone. I've encountered that large files such as pictures begin to be removed and replace with a generic inline-image instead of the actual image. because of this loss in productivities and hard work, I'm no longer composing emails on the Yahoo web-based email platform.

Get rid of unsolicited ads in my drafts. I don't read any ads so its a waste of time and have no intention of paying to have them removed.
By not putting unsolicited ads in my drafts, sent mails, emails etc.

draft saving
So apparently the issue with drafts not saving correctly still hasn't been fixed? Because it's 2020 and not only did I lose the draft of the email I was working on last night, but it has randomly been replaced with the draft email that disappeared on me the day before. And I can't wait 2 days for this one to magically reappear, I need to send it today! This is ridiculous.

Auto-save change in draft IMMEDIATELY, not delay 30 seconds.
When I've changed something in a Draft, please IMMEDIATELY save the change automatically -- not having me to wait 30 seconds before the change is saved.
Or, put a "SAVE NOW" button there so that we can press it to save the change immediately, not having to wait 30 seconds.

When I receive any email containing URLs in my yahoo account, they are not clickable hyperlinked.
When I finish writing or editing a draft, I want it to be auto-saved instantly and let me leave right away -- so that I don't have to wait 30 seconds for it to be auto-saved.

Go back to my old format; ability to print the whole page from the drop-down and ability to open my attachment before sending my email.
Go back to my old format; bring back print option in the drop-down; ability to print the whole screen; ability to open my attachment before sending my email; and there are emails I couldn't read the whole page and had to move the bottom bar. My husband said he can do all these with gmail. Why make changes that make things difficult and time consuming?

FIX this problem on urgent basis !!!
I am using this account from 2005, i have just opened my yahoo email but to my surprise there are no old email in the mail box , INBOX, SENT till Trash and all subfolders are empty, where all my previous data gone , please check.
This is really pathetic, where is all my emails are gone i have not deleted and not able to get any support from your support center ( als done Live chat ), -
Discard Draft
Hello. You should really have a "discard draft" button. When I click the trash icon on a selected draft message it says "Do you really want to delete these 5 messages?" No, of course I don't. I just want to delete my drafted reply and retain the rest of the thread. How is that not completely obvious?

Please REMOVE that STUPID "TRASH CAN" ON THE DRAFTS PAGE! For the 100th time, I accidentally deleted email I spent 2 HOURS CREATING!
REMOVE THAT "TRASH CAN" IN THE LOWER RIGHT OF THE "drafts" SCREEN! Does Yahoo make an extra effort to KEEP its users miserable & ANGRY?
