  3. Yahoo always opens to my "sent" folder reminding me of bill issues I had a year ago. It is anoying. basic email open right. not new vers

    Yahoo ALWAYS opens in my sent folder. Reminding me of bill issues I had a year ago. Maybe add some option so it can open in my inbox instead.

    Hi there. In case you’re accessing Yahoo Mail from a saved bookmark on your browser, we recommend deleting it then access mail.yahoo.com and save the page as a new bookmark.

  4. One click select for a whole month selection will facilitate deletion instead of tedious one by one

    At present I have too many emails piling up and yahoo's new way of not removing ticked individual mail is a great idea but if you also permit one click to select a whole month, it will facilitate my removing unread and unwanted emails.

    Hello there,

    You should be able to create a shortcut of Yahoo Mail, by having the mail.yahoo.com page resized so that you see both the mail page and your desktop, then with the cursor, place it on the ’’i’’ icon before the website and drag it on the desktop.

  11. Busted Link in Mail Menu

    The "Fantasy" link in your pop-out menu should go to your Fantasy Home page (https://sports.yahoo.com/fantasy), rather than to your Fantasy Football home page (https://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com). It makes no sense to go directly to fantasy football for those users who use fantasy baseball, fantasy hockey, and fantasy basketball.

    I mention this because it chaps my hide and because the link has been busted for a long, long time. Please fix it.

  12. search mail

    Since you upgraded my account the search mail function has never worked. I am tired to being unable to search my mail. As a paid customer, I feel I deserve to be able to use this basic function, and if you cannot fix it I will take my business elsewhere. I have already closed my business account, and moved my domains elsewhere. Are you going to drive me away completely with your broken email?

  13. Switch Between Email Accounts

    I used to be able to sign in to all three of my att.net email accounts and switch between them. That function is no longer available. Why not? It doesn't make any sense to take away functionality when updating a system! Put that back in the system!

  14. I have three email accounts for various businesses. Now I have to sign into each one rather than have them display and select. It was so ea

    I have various personal and business emails in Yahoo. It used to be a piece of cake to switch between them. Now it is next to impossible. I have to verify and sign in to each individual email account and it is too time consuming. Ridiculous. Fix it please or return to the devil we already know.

    To add another mailbox to Yahoo please follow the steps:

    1. Click the Settings icon on the right side of the email page
    2. Select More settings
    3. Click Mailboxes on the left side.
    4. Click Add Mailbox.
    5. Enter the email address | click Next.
    In the pop-up window that appears, enter the password for the account you’re adding.
    Follow the steps in the pop-up window.
    6. Click Done.
    7. Click Save.

    Delete single email button.
    In the new format the delete single email button was moved to the far right. As you are looking at emails the eye is drawn to the left half of screen. That is where the sender info and beginning of subject is. When the delete button was on the left you eye and your cursor is in that area making it easier to click delete in that area. Now that it is on the far right your eye is looking left but to delete you have to navigate to the far right to delete a message.…

    Keep in mind that the Spam and Trash folder empty themselves at random intervals throughout the week. To hold onto emails longer, it’s better to Archive them instead. Archived emails are never deleted unless you do so manually.

    Sometimes when emails reappear after being moved/deleted or suddenly move to the Trash, it’s due to syncing issues between the account and a mail app. If you access the account through a non-Yahoo app, you may want to remove the account from the device and re-add it to resolve any future syncing issues.

  16. next mail message opens in the middle, not the top anymore. Why?

    Use Case: I'm reading an email in my Inbox. I'm finished so I delete it. Yahoo Mail automatically opens the next email - so far so good. However, now the next email is opened at the bottom or middle, wherever I was when I exited the last email. So I have to scroll up manually to see the top of the email. WHY? Previously after I deleted a read email Yahoo Mail would open the next one a the top.

    Please go to settings – click on the gear icon on the top right corner- select more settings from the drop-down- on the left side of the screen in the settings page click on Viewing email- on the menu that opens in the next column scroll down and under “After moving a message” select “Go back to original folder”Changes are saved automatically.

  17. Eliminate the tabs

    I noticed tabs now when opening emails. I don't like it. As I read all the complaints on many subjects I can see that Yahoo isn't listening to the yahoo population. As a retired computer engineer I find it appalling that changes are being made without user input.

    Click on settings then scroll a bit down and toggle the option next to “Message tabs” Off

  18. Email list jumping around after exiting out reading an individual email

    After reading an email, I either press Esc key to go back to email list or use the back button on top of email to go back. After doing this multiple times, the email list starts acting weird, it won't stay at the position where it was scrolled to, usually it would jump to a position far down the list then I had to scroll back up again... This started happening after migrating to the new layout. The new layout is so buggy, why make your product worse and force people to use it???
