Too Many Clicks!!!
I chart with 9 SMA and 9 EMA moving averages. In the old interface this required 1 click to open the indicator section, 16 clicks to add additional fields in both sections, and then type/TAB through to enter my moving averages. The new system requires 18 clicks to open the indicators box, 18 clicks to select my desired indicators (9 each SMA and EMA), 18 clicks to place the cursor and replace the average figure, 18 clicks to open the color change selector, 18 clicks to choose a color, and 18 clicks to save the changes.
So.... the "improved" interface has moved a core function of charting from 17 clicks to 108 clicks. How is this supposed to make me more productive? Besides the fact that the settings don't hold from one company to the next, not do they cache in my browser history to be ready the next time I log on and try to use the charts.
The product might look fancy and give extra features, but the goal of modern technology is to increase productivity, not make processes more cumbersome and time-consuming. Your simple charting tools are now as time-consuming as running a Bloomberg Station!

The old chart was much much better. Adding indicators is a pain, going back to the summary of the stock from the full chart is a pain. When rolling the mouse, the chart range changes! What a stupid idea

Hint: fewer clicks is better, good, preferred, liked, loved, desired, etc.

My example is not so intensive as the original poster... wow 108 clicks, that would be frustrating and cumbersome.
For me, when I want to see an indicator, I pretty well know in advance what the settings for that indicator are. ie. with stochastic the period will be 14 and the over zones are at 80/20. Yet when I select an indicator, I am first made to "approve/save" the settings. This is just a superfluous click since the proper settings are commonly known. If I want to know or change the settings I can always click on the indicators key box and the settings will pop up, so the functionality to access the settings already exists. Don't force them on me first, just pop up the indicator upon its selection.
