Storage impact
I’ve had this email since 2007, I was 12 years old when I got this email and I have things saved in my email since then. And you’re telling me that in 2025, now as a 30-year-old… I’m no longer allowed to keep that storage without paying for it?? So there’s no grandfathering in anything or anyone? You can improve your site by not banking off of people‘s memories. Disgraceful to say the LEAST.

My mailbox should be unlimited forever like you once claimed it would be… instead everything I had going to my mailbox is gone because you decided that I had a limited amount of space.

Well I've had Yahoo since I was 15 years old. I'm 37 years old now and my email has over 750k emails in it.
I started to pick up spam in the middle of the pandemic.
I've used yahoo has my primary email address for over 20 years, I have transitioned out of yahoo due to the spam that started clogging up my email address but a lot of my information from banks, taxes, and verification factors, PayPal, cell phone bill ect. is still with Yahoo.
I need to receive important email from them and I am unable to due to my inbox being full and over 35gb.
The task of going through 7.5k pages of emails clicking 100 emails at a time and deleting them is impossible. None of these emails are being rooted into spam folders even though the first year I marked thousands of them as spam. As I sit here today I have 750k emails in my inbox and my spam folder is empty.
I need to just wipe me email, I'm over the limit at least just do a system purge of anyone over the limit that doesn't have a subscription to your new paid tier data limited inbox.
I need these deleted and purged 😭

For the love of Pete…. Why must I select each email individually to delete? For example…. I know I want to delete every email from a particular sender, but your archaic system makes me select each email independently. Get with the times Yahoo!!

I don’t think it’s ethical for Yahoo to still lock my email account from receiving or sending new mails after deleting most of my mails and creating enough space. Why are you bent on forcing customers to buy storage space? This new marketing and money making strategy is unethical

I had to open this account because my other one stopped working. It's karizeeman@yahoo.com
I have been deleting email like crazy for several days now. I still can't use my email it won't budge! I don't mind this new email I have that I'm talking to you from but all my mail and all my contacts are back in the other account.
What should I do? Kari Hain -

Charging me for extra storage means that even though I don’t want to, I’m finally getting that Gmail account. This sucks!

Wtf happened to yahoo?!?! I’ve been using it as my main email for over a decade and haven’t had any problems but I’m somehow out of storage just now?! This is a ******* joke. I’ve spent hours deleting thousands of emails and the storage hasn’t changed at all. Such ******** can’t believe I’m gonna have to change ALL of my email stuff over to another service because you have to pay for support. **** YAHOO AND YAHOO MAIL

i’ve sent one before my idea is for people that have been subscribed since 1999 not to be charged for their mail storage when they initially signed up for it. It was promised to be unlimited storage now you’re charging for it. I know the CEO’s @yahoo corporation make plenty of money and they don’t need to charge individuals pre-charge for mail. I don’t like being held ******* to be able to get important emails and save important emails.

Monetizing spam protection service would indicate a stake in the, coincidently expanding, spam email/scam industry. Apparently, yahoo is just another arm of the "capitalism over literally every other value" movement. Disgusting

Why does removing emails from your desktop still leave the messages you deleted on your cell phone? It is Like Yahoo will not allow you to clear storage, and is forcing you to buy space! I used to love yahoo, now I have 0 respect for them!

The amount of storage reduction after decades of having the same email and trying to clean it up to accommodate your new changes is insane. This is ridiculous. Missing flight information and billing notices thanks to yahoo. Great job guys 👎

I’ve had this account forever. Now I’m being locked out for storage?? And there’s not even a good way to quickly clean up/organize/manage storage so you don’t have to buy some. Absolutely insane. Seems to me technology has improved over the years and now sounds like yahoo has a hard time utilizing it to keep the same service for people they’ve had for decades now. Not paying for yahoo mail storage…sorry. You got me messed up!

Terrible to make people pay for the email use out of the blue. You know people rely on email address for vital communication and I have been with yahoo for nearly 2 decades. I am extremely upset and you need to change it back as soon as possible.
