4. Notification setting for iPhone not working

   I have setting in phone to persistent banner, sounds, badges. In app All messages and features. When an email is received it is not consistent. Sometimes a sound barely comes across, for example abruptly stops mid sound, and does not show up in the notification pull down screen. It does however show a number next to the yahoo icon on the screen which is the only and quickest way for me to know where the notification came from.

5. Follow Up to earlier message regarding lack of Push option

   Earlier this morning, I wrote to you regarding the lack of a “push” option for Yahoo email on the native iPhone mail app. In the short time since I wrote my comment/suggestion for your improvement, I have again missed another email in a timely fashion that would have allowed me to register to receive the Covid vaccine. I realize you are trying to manipulate and control by forcing people to use your app but I find it to cutesy and not as user friendly. I am angry. You would think, at least during this time of the pandemic crisis with so many people working from home needing important communication and many waiting anxiously for updates on vaccine availability, that you, as a company, would be compassionate enough to allow people the opportunity to receive their email as quickly as possible regardless of the app they prefer. This should be an easy fix for you and would be beneficial to many. As I said, I have missed several chances to receive the vaccine because of your issue. I am very careful about wearing a mask, social distancing and leaving home unnecessarily. If I should get Covid before I am able to be vaccinated, I will consider Yahoo largely responsible. Time for you to develop a social conscience.

    The app Yahoo Mail (for iPhone) version 6.18.0 has functionality working and not working ESPECIALLY when compared to the app Yahoo version 1.23.5. One can say neither app developer is talking to the other Team.

    Examples:
    - app Yahoo Mail doesn’t allow personal sigs
    - app Yahoo does allow personal sigs
    - app Yahoo Mail allows selecting notification sounds
    - app Yahoo notification sound selections are None or Device

    What happens when a customer has both loaded on their mobile device?

    Example:
    - Mail arrives. Which app does notifications?

    This is HUGE discovery about the misaligned apps.
    Someone needs to drop their ego and say Hey can we make them similar.

    Please stop the Top Stories from giving me a head ache? On my iPad when taping on Top Stories "View More" the next screen shows all the icon puc and a few words for each,,, but then starts jumping around and moving the storys into a new arangement nonstop!
    I try to scroll down the page but then it starts flippin out and re-aranging all the news feed storys again. It gives me a headach watchin it!

20. The app Yahoo and app Yahoo Mail

    Recently discovered, & LOVE, the ability to use the single app Yahoo Mail for my Yahoo email, Google email, and AOL email. And I like the idea of color coding in the app to remind which is which. Today I downloaded the app Yahoo. 3 accts. still but no color coding & no mail feature setup at all.
    Enhancement request: The app Yahoo should at least color code similar to the app Yahoo Mail. Other setup would be cool too. Thank you.

    p.s. My apologies to everyone at Yahoo. Too many Americans posting on this forum think this is the Helpdesk where they can complain. Complaining about something that is free. Only in America. smh
