Stock portfolio news feed is incomplete, missing news items from many companies in the portfolio
I am reporting a problem that has emerged recently. I have a stock portfolio with hundreds stocks I follow. In the past, when I go to portfolio news, I see all the news for all companies within the portfolio on that day. However, over the last a few months, many company news items are missing in the portfolio news feed. In fact, only a small fraction of the company news is listed. conversations - default sort order
Need one of three things to be implemented, or a comparable suggestion:
- Default to "newest reactions" sort order in conversations.
- Store in a cookie the last used sort order in conversations.
- Provide an option to choose a default sort order in conversations.
Defaulting to "top reactions" skews the sentiment on the message boards. Just because a message has the most interaction does not make it more relevant.

Recategorize Business Items as Ads if They Require Subscription
Many times, news items are categorized as "Business". When you click on them you get "The story continues...". Click on that, and you hit the "Subscription required" page. Those items should be categorized as Ads. They waste my time.

Option Chain New Features
Option Chains needs defaults. When I go to Option Chain, I want to default to Straddle. I also want another "Straddle Full" that contains of the same column information as List view. You aren't using the width of the wide screen monitors.
I would also like to have a price filter range so I can limit the screen to only see prices within a range. Need to have a toggle button to be able to turn on/off/clear this filter.

Put the comments section back in so that the real truth can bee told! Congress also needs to start holding Yahoo and other providers liable for such untruthful intentional articles!

Report Economic Results Without Heavy Partisan Spin
During Trump admin, job numbers, unemployment claims, etc. are almost always framed to make things look as bad as possible. Even if a number is significantly better than expectations (which would be the relevant headline...) the YF headline attempts to darken the narrative. This provides a disservice to more amateur investors who must scratch their heads about how such bleak economic news time and time again (per YF at least) could be met with a significant jump in stocks

you need to lose the 10 million ads per page. if you do not lower the number of ads I will be forced to add an ad blocker..

I counted 43 ads on the front finace page alone without even trying to find them all. the active moving ones and the BS sponsored etc etc if you want to be taken seriously as a source of financial information STOP!!!!!.. If this stays the same for a few weeks more I will be adding an ad blocker!!!!

Drop the daily, auto-generated "<stock> rises/falls" stories from Marketplace.
These "news" stories don't add anything of value that isn't already evident in the core Yahoo finance stock features. It also dilutes attention from otherwise valuable news on stocks within a portfolio.
Otherwise, I appreciate the concise, realtime format of the portfolio tables!

detailed company wise consolidated figures of my portfolio from different brokerage
my total portfolio:
though it is giving the total value and changes figures during the day is good,, i would like to have all individual brokarage accounts holdings are consolidated symbol wise with details of total holding ,average cost, profit during day and since purchase and % of that symbol within total portfolio.
this view would be helpful especially when we have different fin institutions brokarage accounts.
since already you have data which is display undere each brokerage acount , this requires only to create a system portfolio with consolidated figures symbol wise

Incorrect Data for GD Dividend Info
For several months now, General Dynamic's (GD) Forward Dividend and Yield have been displaying as "N/A (N/A)". I've confirmed GD continues to pay their dividend, so this appears to be a data error.
