How can we improve New Yahoo Mail Basic?

It's ugly and the select all does not work.

I click select all, it flashes complete on the left side but nothing is selected. It looks like a FisherPrice child version of email. Maybe it is a kid's toy and that why it is not functional.

    When we select an email, please keep the background color highlighted to visually indicate that it is selected--just showing the checkbox itself is not enough. This is especially useful when selecting multiple emails. Please fix soon.

    Get rid of it!! I hate it!! I can't select one, push shift and select the line I want. I hate select all then having to fix it because I want to keep what it selected. I want my basic back or I will find some other email carrier. The new improved is not!!

    It take longer time to work as you only limit to 5 files by each time. If you have more files to add to that mail you have to wait really long. The system took longer to add the file in

    You used to have it so you could delete emails all of them

    I used to be able to select hundreds of emails at a time to delete. I would check the first email, hold down shift key, and check an email 50 emails below the first and everything in between would be checked and I could delete at one. Now I have to check each individual email. Don't have time to do all that.

    This is not an idea this is a complain, the new mail does't work, I can't delete a message, can't go back, can't get to the setting, the only temporary fix was to clear chrome cookies and history, the mail worked temporarily to get in the setting and go back to the old basic yahoo mail.
    you should fire the tech that came up with this stupid upgrade.

    The Select All button does nothing. (This is is Chrome on a Windows PC.)

    Can I go back to the old one please? Doesn't remember my contacts. Can't <Shift-Click> to select a block for deletion. Can't <Shift-DownArrow> to select multiple emails. And that's the 1st day!

    Bad Idea......... Delete button and Select all button does nothing. it looks like you have presented us with the beta version of..................... Bring back old look and feel, hence restore functionality as usual.

    Put back so that I can hold down shift while checking a series of emails to delete- with the new change I can either select one, or all, and then manually uncheck those to keep- it was perfect Before.

    It is awful. I cannot delete emails I don't want, or bin them. 'Select all' seems to do nothing. The bin symbol doesn't delete emails. Bring back the old user friendly style. This is confusing and I shall end up with an in-box of complete trash at this rate! I may leave Yahoo if this isn't sorted out.

    Same problem - I can no longer select multiple email using the Shift key.
