bring back classic mail
Please change back to the classic Yahoo Mail! There are certain features that I can't do on the current version that I could do in the old classic mail version, such as dragging an email to a folder. How am I now able to do that?! I am frequently dragging things to folders, and it is imperative that I have this feature re-instated.

Unbelievable stupidity on Yahoo's part.
The "Classic" email runs circles around anything you have/had... and the "new" email is the worst EVER.
BRING BACK "CLASSIC" EMAIL and make it PERMANENT (and stop changing sh*t) -

I don't want voice. I don't want AI. I just want plain email with fonts, color choices, drag to folder, etc. Bring back the version that everyone was use to. This version is awful.

I'm already signed into my email account. Why should I have to sign in AGAIN to comment on the trainwreck that you've made out of Yahoo Classic (New Yahoo Mail Basic = bad version of the original). For all the reasons listed by others, starting with only being able to see a screen's worth of messages at a time. Agh!

have you folks ever heard of the kiss method? Keep I Simple Stupid. or have you heard of if it aint broke dont fix it stupid? the new yahoo was done by morons and want to make peoples lives miserable, go back to classic, this version sucks big donkey d***, i cuss the designers every time i try to use it and hope they get fired for being stupid, maybe musk should get in there and just wipe out the design dept. quit being stupid.

How can I get back to classic email look? In the new email it is difficult to swtich between emails, search email, search emails by photo or attachemnt etc.

Up until yesterday, under Settings, you can go back to Basic (classic) mode. Today, it is gone. In basic mode, you used to be able to select one email (click the little square button on the left), then hold the Shift key and click on another email (again the little square selection button), and all the emails between the 2 emails will be selected. Now it doesnt work any more (in the basic view), only possible to do that in the Standard view. HOWEVER the standard view dont have the Empty Trash (or Spam) button. You have to select the "All" button to select them and then click Delete. That is so clumsy. And oh, (in the Standard version), you have to click the 3 dots to see the Trash and Spam folder. This is RIDICULOUS for something you have to go to ALL the time. So I go between the 2 views to do the way I like (which is not a great option by itself but at least I can do it). But now once in Standard mode, I cant go back to classic view - because you took it away. Why do you take away old feature that was working and then selectively not carry over some (very useful) features when you go to a newer version? A NEW version SHOULD BE better than the old one, with all the features that were useful before and adding new ones. Not take away some useful features, and then randomly add some "new" features which are not useful (and clumsy). Is there any User Experience test or study done when you go to a new version? This whole thing doesnt make any sense. I can see many people are complaining. GIve us the Basic back (with the bulk email selection feature (like I described above)). I use that ALL THE TIME.

you can't. just go back to the old one. this one looks very cartoonish and hard to look at. give us an EASY option to revert back. you took away basic controls and made it clunkier to use. why should i have to hit an 'apply' button to go to a folder? this is dumb. who approves this ****??

All of my folders and sub folders are now open and I cannot scroll down the list. Go back to the way it was before.
There is no move icon. Functionality is compromised with everything I try to do. Go back to the way it was before.
The whole thing is a mess.

New interface is noticeably slower and format is far more inefficient. Yahoo mail was fine before, now it just makes me angry. No reason not to switch to Google if I have to relearn everything on a worse platform.

This is not what I was looking for I do not want I vote on my idea. I want the page you changed to new version back not a different one. I agree with this concern below. "I used to be able to see all of my emails in any given box at once. Now I can only see 25 at a time and have to page through them. It is much more efficient and less time consuming to be able to scroll to what I want to find. Please give me the option to select "All" instead of 25 at time."

Please revert back to the old standard Yahoo Mail. This new look makes it very difficult to move around and get things done. Life is already hard and technology should make it easier but this new version of Yahoo Mail is too difficult. BRING BACK THE OLD CLASSIC YAHOO MAIL IMMEDIATELY.
