bring back classic mail
Please change back to the classic Yahoo Mail! There are certain features that I can't do on the current version that I could do in the old classic mail version, such as dragging an email to a folder. How am I now able to do that?! I am frequently dragging things to folders, and it is imperative that I have this feature re-instated.

Please switch back or you will see a mass exodus. The new product is inferior in every way. Slow, clunkier, harder to use, attachments are twice as hard, you can no longer paste pictures directly into emails, folder views are harder to see, extra step to move emails to folders, the list goes on and on. I have been Yahoo mail fan since 2002 but now I am ready to go if you don't fix this soon. Just sayin... fair warning.

Why is it when you read an email and you delete it ..it jumps to the whole list again and not go to the next email..

Stop tethering the basic email version. Obviously, Yahoo is doing this to prompt users moving to the Standard format. I HATE the standard format and will continue to use the basic until you delete it. When given the option to use one or the other, keep both operational as they were prior to creation of an "upgraded" version. Also, no option for different fonts or text colors, bold, etc. with basic mail any longer. Petty move Yahoo!!!!

This is beyond horrible. This is a matter of function over form. At some point, the designers have to prioritize functionality over appearance. Just because it looks good does not mean that will translate into a product that meets the needs of the users. Upper management might like the new mail version, the designers of the product might like the new mail but ultimately it will be the users that vote on whether they like the new version. And the users are beginning to vote with their "feet" as they move to other services that prioritize function over form.

Karen McAvey must work for the department responsible for this travesty. She's placed the same comment a couple of times, but the important fact is that I have not been able to find the "switch to basic mail" option she refers to. Maybe it was there and they've already decided to either move it in the interest of style, or too many people tried it already and they weren't using the new version.

Go back to where I can select multiple email to delete, customize my signature with nice fonts, have optional color themes....JUST QUIT JACKING WITH IT!!!

I liked Yahoo mail the way it was. No problems. Now it's ugly, and not user friendly. I don't like the different mailboxes being hidden in a menu down at the bottom. I miss the option to customize the background. Mine was so pretty. Now it's ugly. Change it back!!! Seriously thinking of finding a new email server despite the work it will take to change all my accounts that I use with my yahoo email. Seriously.

New STANDARD is horrible!!!!. You also changed the BASIC & made it worse. It is slower and takes more steps to do same function. Why do you want to fix something that is not broken???? You have made all of it worse.

THere's too much going on on the screen. I went back to basic and it's changed too. I can no long select a message, scroll down and select all messages in between using the shift key so I have to click on each msg to delete stuff I don't want.
NOW all I'm seeing is one page of mail at a time and have to click on the 2 to go to the next page and 3 for the next etc. etc.
I think it's time for all of us to go gmail -

Give me the "old' email back. This is SLOWER, less functional, and doesn't work. It wasn't 'broke' so why did you 'try' to 'fix' it?!?

I want my old yahoo mail back please. DO NOT like the new or standard email!! Frustrating to use and does not show new emails until I use refresh. Makes me think that yahoo is doing this on purpose to make you get so frustrated that you will switch to the one where you have to pay. NOT GONNA HAPPEN.

Whoever's idea it was to take away functionality from the basic version of your e-mail should be fired. Particularly when the old "basic version" had more functionality then your new "standard version" does now. Standard version is hard to read. Doesn't tell me how many new messages I have, and can't function with a full screen. No ability to hide the stupid lists on the right. Basic version you have taken so much function away that it makes it slow and tiresome. Ie... won't go to next message after deleting, can't move to next message either when in an e-mail. Also, doesn't give time references in the e-mail list as to "today", "yesterday" "last week". Forcing people into using a dumb idea is just that a dumb idea. Yahoo e-mail has become useless. Guess we will take our money else where!!

Please put back the 200 email per page feature, the 25 emails per page is a killer for going back from previous emails. This is killing efficiency.
