How can we improve New Yahoo Mail Basic?

bring back classic mail

Please change back to the classic Yahoo Mail! There are certain features that I can't do on the current version that I could do in the old classic mail version, such as dragging an email to a folder. How am I now able to do that?! I am frequently dragging things to folders, and it is imperative that I have this feature re-instated.

    Yes Stop changing the format. If I wanted it differently I would use gmail. Why change Yahoo mail to look like gmail.

    this new system is the worst unless you like having to do more to accomplish the same. Hire someone who has a clue not to change for change sake

    why did they do this anyway? who complained about the state of yahoo mail? some rando somewhere in bangladesh? I was fine with the previous version of yahoo.

    why does yahoo feel the need to constantly ***** up something that was perfectly fine? and note that they're censoring everyone who has negative comments about their mucking everything up?! why are all the 'comments' closed on every complaint here? so much for freedom of speech, worse than facebook.

    1. It takes extra steps to go between each of my Yahoo Mail accounts.
    2. It takes extra steps to move emails to appropriate folders.
    3. The "new" Yahoo mail gives me summaries of emails I do not want.

    Why??

    Go back to the previous basic version or at least give the option to choose which version we can use. Somehow improvements always seem to be more complicated and add more steps.

    Yahoo Mail used to be so good and now I hate it so **** much! I can't do a **** thing whatsoever! I can't even type emails out or hide all my folders! I have an older computer (a Chromebook) that cannot support the newest Chrome Browser or even be updated and as such I have to use the OLD BASIC Yahoo Mail but guess what I can't **** use it whatsoever for no matter what I try to do I get taken to the page to Update my Browser and to go to the NEW Yahoo Mail that already **** SUCKS! Even on my old Windows 10 laptop I'm being forced to use the trashy looking NEW Yahoo Mail when the ORIGINAL WAS SO MUCH MORE BETTER! I WANT TO GO BACK TO THAT BETTER YAHOO MAIL! I'm literally ****** off at Yahoo for forcing this no good illogical change onto its users without the ability to stay on what actually WORKS thus bring back the ORIGINAL Yahoo Mail that actually works on older Chromebooks and was far more preferred by everyone over this TRASH!

    Give us back our old email and all it's functions. Why do you keep trying to fix things that aren't broken. Do you even ask if we want it? I closed my email because I thought I was done and when I reopened it 2 minutes later I was faced with not being able to find anything, and having to click on 6 different things to do something that used to take one click or a drag. I can't even tab within my message. I have a report to send that is columns and now I have to space multiple times between each column on each row. Is this an improvement? I don't think so. When you make all these stupid changes you should at least give those of us that don't want to change, the option to click someplace easily identified to keep things the way we had them. I used to be able to drag an email to one of my folders. Now I have to click on Action, scroll through the folders, click on one and then go back up and click on apply. You have made a mess of the email and we want our old email back. AI sucks. What ever happened to good old customer service and customer input. There's no such thing as dialog anymore. You just randomly change things and think we are going to love what you've done. Guess again! I've been using Yahoo email for 20 years. If I chose to change my email after all this time it would take me weeks or months to try to figure out all the friends, doctors, places I shop, and vendors that I would have to change. In this day and age where everything revolves around technology, everyone requires an email address and password. Please resolve this mess quickly and save all Yahoo users from wanting to leave.

    The basic email for RH53181 has been changed and there are no fonts, colors and bolding like there used to be when you compose an email. This is terrible customer care by the programmer.
    There are no tools like there was previously. There is no preview of the pdf file like there used to be off to the right. Whomever reprogrammed this basic email and the new one really does not care about giving you a choice and customer care. Please go back to the old email service. Thank you.

    Go back to the old basic version. This new version is horrible. You made it a longer process to find emails, delete emails, and there is too much spacing. Why on earth would you offer a calendar option that opens up in a different tab. Go back to the older version!!!!

    It's that simple. This voting for **** is ridiculous. If I wanted a Gmail clone I'd be using Gmail. Very disappointing

    Don't ever remove basic mail as an option. I have just moved back to basic from the recently upgraded full-featured version. Although basic is not ideal, the full-featured version has become too obnoxious and irritating to use. I don't need a constant barrage of AI suggestions every time I open an email to read that email.

    I agree!....Do we have to click the arrow button to advance to the next/previous email page to see those emails.....This is a step backward in time, this is not an improvement.

    The new yahoo mail is terrible. Please give us the option to go back to older one. I cant change text size nor change color nor send pictures as attachments.
