How can we improve New Yahoo Mail Basic?

bring back classic mail

Please change back to the classic Yahoo Mail! There are certain features that I can't do on the current version that I could do in the old classic mail version, such as dragging an email to a folder. How am I now able to do that?! I am frequently dragging things to folders, and it is imperative that I have this feature re-instated.

    NO ONE ASKED FOR THIS NEW F IN MAIL LOOK WE WANT THE OLD LOOK BACK THIS NEW LOOK IS TO F ING BIG, BLOTED AND EVEN THE SO CALLED BASIC LOOK IT **** AND WAY TO DAMM BIG. GIVE US AN OPTION TO REVERT BACK. AS I SAID WHEN IT FIRST TRYED TO FORCE THIS **** FORCE THIS **** AND LOSE USERS. EITHER WE GET AN OPTION TO REVERT BACK BEFORE FEBUARY 23 2025 OR COME'S MONDAY THE 24TH NOT ONLY WILL I BE CLOSING ACCOUNT I WILL FILL A F ING LAW SUIT SUING YAHOO.

    Bring back the search icon next to messages, it was great to easily search by sender or subject.

    After using Yahoo Mail since it started, I am leaving it today because of the changes made to it. Removing the ability for basic mail to have a themed dark mode, the ability to easily move emails into folders, and the clear intentions of Yahoo to try and force customers into their junk paid email to get what other sites offer for free. It's clear Yahoo chose the 20 out of the 80, and is actively trying to ruin their email service. Change it back, and I might return.

    I used to be able to select emails, ctrl+k and it would mark all as read. Now I have to click the drop down find "mark as read" then click Apply and wait for it to mark my emails as read.

    You can't improve it. It was perfect the way it was. The new interface should be optional, not enforced.

    STOP OFFERING NEW VERSIONS WHEN THEY DO NOT IMPROVE THE OLD YAHOO EMAIL. BRING BACK THE OLD YAHOO EMAIL IMMEDIATELY AND LET US CHOOSE WHAT WE LIKE.

    We didn't ask for a new look to our Yahoo Mail. Whoever designed this should be fired. I'm a long time paying plus member and I want my old mail format back. This is a quick way to lose customers!!!

    You need to go back to the old format for messages. New format does not allow you to see who you have already copies. Makes it difficult to work with a group of people.

    It was fine the way it was for 20 yrs. I want my teal blue color scheme back. I hate this horrible white page. It hurts my eyes. If I put it on Dark, it hurts my eyes and makes the images look like negatives. I hate what you have done to yahoo mail

    Not a fan of the new features. And all the recommended methods to go back to basic don't work. You've rendered my yahoo/mail account trash

    Now the old classic email does not update new incoming emails unless I go and click on the inbox button the page. There was nothing new shown and i thought that was odd so I clicked on inbox and a dozen new emails showed up....WTF?? not good

    The new Standard email is terrible, and the Basic email has been badly damaged.

    1. The Inbox has lost the skill of refreshing itself. I have to take an additional action every time I want to see any new mail headers.
    2. After reading a message and hitting Back to return to the inbox, I get a blank error screen, and have to take yet another additional to see the inbox again.
    3. The inbox layout tool has been destroyed, so there is no way to undo the stupid decision to de-optimize my precious screen real estate by presenting fewer message headers and more useless white space.

    And these are just some things I noticed in my small usage of one corner of the webmail app. You've now "improved" your offering all the way to the point where I don't want to use it at all, and I'm done trying to live with the stupidity of your low-skill designers. I am switching to an IMAP client. You've actually managed to drive my eyeballs away from your advertising - nice work.

    new yahoo mail is a disaster. too much going wrong to go into details. I went back to the old version and it is not the same either. it's not saving drafts, can't change fonts anymore. and that's just what I noticed in 2 minutes. Not good.
