How can we improve New Yahoo Mail Basic?

bring back classic mail

Please change back to the classic Yahoo Mail! There are certain features that I can't do on the current version that I could do in the old classic mail version, such as dragging an email to a folder. How am I now able to do that?! I am frequently dragging things to folders, and it is imperative that I have this feature re-instated.

    I cannot upgrade my browsers (the computer won't handle it), so I have to remain with the old mail version. But now you have screwed up the good old Yahoo mail, destroying all its helpful features. People tell me it is time to move on to Gmail. I will, unless you bring back the old mail. In fact, I am also a paying business customer, and that mail system got screwed up as well!!

    i USE MY 150 contacts for a club newsletter. Isend only 40 in each batch. I used to be able to select the first, then select the 40th by pressing the shift key, then I could click on "send an email to these addresses, and all the slected addresses would appear in the "TO" box. I could then select all of these 40, and drag them into the "BCC" box for privacy reasons. NOW, I would have to click each of the 150 emails before I could do anything. PLEASE BRING BACK THE PREVIOUS SYSTEM. THE NEW ONE IS USELESS.

    Yet again you are messing with something that didn't need to be changed.
    Now I cannot get hyperlinks into my signature.
    Looks horrible.
    Everything is to cluttered.
    No doubt you'll give a standard pre-rehearsed reply to everyone and hope we all just put up with it and shut up.
    Seriously considering ditching Yahoo and moving on now.
    Come on Yahoo ... give customers what they what and stop messing with things because some overpaid bloke in marketing had an "idea".

    I want the old Mail back! The new layout, etc. absolutely STINKS. What kind of complete corporate moron literally does what their paying customers do NOT want and forces it upon them? Does Yahoo think they're going to attract smartphone users with this new stupid look? Mobile users don't use Yahoo Mail!! Ye gods, the new system has by far some of the worst user interface design elements I've ever seen (UID was my speciality years ago), not to mention the oodles of bugs people have cited. Why has the exact count of emails in the Drafts folder gone? Of what use is the ridiculous 999+? Does Yahoo think people are scared of big numbers or something? Are they aiming this at 5yr olds? I could list dozens of other examples of Stupid, but I'm sure everyone here already knows about them.

    Yahoo, bring back the old Mail and stop being a ******* to your customers! I *pay* for this service, I want what I was paying for! If you want to give us a choice, fine, do that, but forcing this garbage on your users is completely insane. Also, fire the idiot coders who wrote this rubbish and clearly never bothered testing it! And force them to use a normal desktop to do the testing!

    This "new" update has so many flaws, it should not have been released and forced on users. While typing e-mails the update does not keep up with average typing speed and stalls, forcing the user to click at the last character accepted and start typing again. When typing long e-mails, the update tosses the user to the top of the screen so the user can not see what is being typed. This was a very bad update.

    Bring back classic. This one is not working for me. Where are the formats of the letters? Where the active links? Why did you get rid off the functionalities? Bad move!!!

    Please bring back the old Classic Yahoo email outlook. Up until a few days ago, there was still an option to select it, not it is gone. Why do you force me to use something I don´t want to use? I didn´t want to consider this until now but I think it´s high time I left Yahoo mail for another mail provider which gives choice to people and doesn´t take options away from them.

    BRING BACK THE OLD MAIL. I have google chrome and it still gave me this **** you call mail. You can't even change the font size.

    This new version is of no use and it is not even tested before implementing. I don't know who is the master behind this implementation and who approved it. May be everyone was forced to implement this new version. Any new version will have advanced features comparing with older version, in this case it is not even met 10% of the older classic version. Thanks for allowing user to chose another domain to create new email id's. Three cheers to YAHOOOOOOOOO.....
