How can we improve New Yahoo Mail Basic?

bring back classic mail

Please change back to the classic Yahoo Mail! There are certain features that I can't do on the current version that I could do in the old classic mail version, such as dragging an email to a folder. How am I now able to do that?! I am frequently dragging things to folders, and it is imperative that I have this feature re-instated.

    Go back to the old version. New version is extremely upsetting!

    iF IT ISN'T BROKE DON'T FIX IT. Use the KISS principle and stop your techs from complicating things.

    Maybe time to get a gmail account .Ad back the beautiful background for seasons of the year and birthdays,etc

    Fix it such that I can go back to my old email format. It is more time consuming to have to go back to the email list everytime I want to read the next message. The up/down arrows to either go to previous or next email are blanked out such that I am unable to use them. This is terribly inconvenient.

    How many people do Y'all need complaining in order to return our Old Yahoo Mail????? This is beyond belief!!! I'll be glad when AT&T Get rid of Y'all for good as well, then I will at least have one good email account.

    Guess I need to go to Gmail and check their out, I have been with Yahoo since June of 2020, guess that doesn't matter any more.

    Not seeing the option to switch back? As we move forward with the New Yahoo Mail experience, the option to opt out and return to the previous version may be removed. If you don't see an option to go back to the old Yahoo Mail, it's no longer available for your account.

    Why did Y'all remove the option to go back - It works and this POS you have given us now is exactly that a POS!!

    Please give us that want to switcfh back the option to do that - I do not want to beat my head against the wall every day to work between my accounts and can't format my emails to the way I want them. You gave me the old version back for about 15 minutes just 10 minutes ago then took it away again.
    PUT IT BACK - this is Childish!!

    Please Return the Old Version for Us that want it - let those that want to beat their head against the wall keep the new version - But I can't work with this at all - You gave it back for about 15 minutes ago, but took it a way again - PUT IT BACK!! THIS IS DOWN RIGHT CHILDISH

    Absolutely - Please put it back or give us the option to switch back I hate this new version - I want the old one back or I'm finding another service.

    Why when you had it working just fine before you had to go and ***** with it. Please Put it Back - or at least give us the option to switch back??? This is ridiculous - I have to make five moves to do what I did in the Old Version by one or two at most.
    PUT IT BACK - IF IT DON'T BROKE DON'T FIX IT!!!!!

    Please put the 3 bullet dots back to block & delete from inbox - it is too cumbersome to copy and go to settings then blocked address to do that function.

    <SHFT> + Click no longer works for selecting multiple mails. FIX THAT OR GO BACK TO THE OLD VERSION.

    I agree with the multitude of those who have difficulty with the "Basic" email format. It has many bugs and is most difficult to use. I feel that if the issue is not addressed and soon, then I will move to another email system, one that is more compatible with our wishes. And why haven't we heard from you about our concerns? It shows poor leadership. Please respond to our concerns as soon as possible, or you may lose a plethora of clients.

    I was able to avoid the new style layout for quite a while, but i just got on today and was forced into it.

    I CANT STAND IT.

    even when i go back to the "basic" style its not the same and harder to use. I don't understand why this was necessary. let me have the style of email I have been using of the better side of 2 decades... I don't want to figure out a new layout.

    Its overall a very confusing a jarring experience..THANKS

    Took way to long to figure out how to switch back to basic view. In basic view the pages for emails is the dumbest idea I've ever seen in a email box. You took a barely working search function, to a completely not working search function. The most basic functions like being able to drag and drop files no longer works. All around a terrible useless update. Instead of wasting time and money trying to make things look "cool", turn it back the way it was and spend that money making it work "cool".

    Change this back, the email is horrible, the homepage layout is bad, this is not working for everyone at all.
