    You've got pages and pages of upset people who never wanted anything to change, and do you even care? This is ridiculous. I've had this email account since 1997, and I'm so mad about this. You didn't ask, you don't care, and you won't make user-friendly changes. Why do I have to use multiple clicks to do one simple action? Why can't it advance automatically to the next email? Why do I have to go back to my inbox to go to another email, instead of clicking to the next one? Why do I have to scroll ALL the way up or all the way down to delete? This is so bad.

    You have again ruined another part of Yahoo by screwing up MAIL. I am using basic mail, and now I have to click to do just about anything. Two clicks to do something. Two clicks to move something to Spam. Two click to locate the Spam folder that is hidden away. God, you folks are clueless. And the way you took aways My Yahoo is a crime. Incompetence.

    I agree! Why change to updates that are inconvenient for the user to have additional clicks? NOT an improvement? Why No 'Block'? Why have to additionally click 'Apply' or 'Go'?

    Change it back to the way it was with the Yahoo Sports, Finance, etc. links at the top and bring back the Unread button.

    WHAT IS THIS SH** --- NOW WE HAVE TO DO 5 STEPS TO DO WHAT WE USED TO DO IN ONE --- HOW IN H**L IS THIS AN IMPROVEMENT ????? ----- MAYBE YOU JUST LEAVE THE ONE THAT WAS WORKING, AND GET ALL THE BUGS OUT OF THE NEW, BEFORE YOU USE THE NEW !!!!

    The blue "read" button doesn't work. The up/down arrows are frequently missing. I apparently can't directly paste an image into an email anymore. The hits just keep on coming.

    First of all, is there no way for the basic mail to be dark mode now? Why take away our customization as well for a background/theme we like?

    The basic mail I've been using for over 10 years is exactly what I want and the reason I even have used yahoo all this time. With this latest update I will be moving elsewhere, and no your new "standard" is not better, it is actually a million times worse, especially if you have a bunch of emails like I do and can no longer see them ALL on the side. Also no more days splitting the emails up and everything is lumped together and not organized. Horrible.

    I will be switching all of my email to Gmail accounts. It's become embarrassing to give out a Yahoo email account - it's like someone admitting they still use AOL. it automatically indicates you're old, out of touch. I hate the new format. I hate that you didn't give users a choice. I hate the reduced functionality. I hate Yahoo mail and will be switching EVERYTHING to Gmail. Stupid move, Yahoo.

    The old home page was fine and easy to navigate, it now sucks. The old email was easy to navigate and was good. Now you have added more and more clicks to take care of things. But yes the world of counting clicks works well for yahoo income but not for users. Nobody likes change but these changes are just stupid and make using the forum more difficult and less enjoyable. You broke a perfectly good system for click farming for advertisement purposes. Maybe time to switch email and home page!!

    I'm leaving this **** show. Email used to be simple, but now y'all done complicated things for no reason. I keep getting junk mail. **** this! The appearance is horrible and it makes things difficult. I can't toggle back and forth between accounts. I hate this! Gmail here I come.

    Overview Switch to basic Yahoo Mail is incomplete:

    Click the Settings icon Image of the Settings icon. | select More settings.
    Near the bottom left, click Switch to basic Mail.
    Click Switch to basic Mail again to confirm.

    I called Yahoo and this is what I did and it worked:
    Sign in to your new mail
    On the left side, click on the Folders icon
    3 dots will appear, click on the 3 dots
    Click on Settings
    Under Settings near the bottom, click on an option "Basic Mail"

    Hope this helps.

    Can you please bring back the previous version?

    I want to select the UNREAD messages for deletion in one wop...what happened to that option?

    Why only 25 emails? Bring back the entire view of emails.

    I'll think of some more in a minute...this "upgrade" is the worst.

    What's happening to yahoo email set-up? Difficult to navigate in settings even.
