No notice, Just was told I was switched to a new version bringing a bunch of enhancements... It's a pitty to say it and do it that way! Yahoo is going to lose a lot of users.
A dozen years I use it and had no need to change until I was switch to the 'New Basic Mail'... just not professional customer service and the worse email service. Poorer than Mail.com!

You have now deleted some names/addresses I had before. I also have to type each one in individually now instead of a few letters for it to appear. Just what are you actually trying to do?????--send us all to gmail????????? Why aren't you paying attention to anything that people are posting here?

Don't drop convenient shortcuts and make composing more time consuming
Formerly, when composing, just a couple keystrokes in the "To" box would generate a list of possible destinations you could add with a simple click. Now suddenly that is unavailable, and we have to bring up our whole contact list and choose from that, taking much more time. Are you TRYING to drive people to gmail?? To much of the time your "improvements" make yahoo mail harder to use!

I hate the new format. I used to be able to type a name and the email will automatically populate. This is terrible.

I'VE USED MY E-MAIL ADDRESS SENSE 2001, AND I PAY A FEE TO HAVE THE YAHOO PRO FOR THE EXTRA MB TO SEND LARGER FILES.
