Missing Contacts after new Contacts interface added
A bunch of my Contacts are missing in the new Contact interface. I see that there's a "more..." link to click for a section (letter) when not all are shown. That isn't the solution. I have Contact records that are just gone and I'm seeing old ones that I got rid of long ago. What's up?!

What on earth is going on at Yahoo? Are there any human beings still working there? These changes are making users miserable and no answers from Yahoo. Long time users have stored valuable contact information that is nearly impossible to access now. Have they been hacked? Did someone intentionally take the beautiful contact system and "update it" to where it's unusable?

Now I'm also seeing that Yahoo resurrected very old Contacts deleted. So, they delete my important current Contacts and restore old unneeded ones. Real smart.
In addition, they've added some sort of Contacts that they probably dug out of very old emails and they cannot be deleted (the three dots ... that are usually there with the Delete command are not visible in this Contacts. So they are forcing Contacts on me that I don't want.
This level of control is disgusting.

I have been round and round with Yahoo Support on this. They are robots. All they can say is "We are sorry for the inconvenience." From my own research I assume that when Yahoo finally integrated Contacts with the Mail system again (for me that was earlier this week that it happened) they deleted all of our Contacts that didn't have an email address. They offer NO SOLUTION for this. The idiots kept telling me that I should have backed up (exported) my Contacts to a CSV file. I have exported my Contacts but I still had many new notes in my records that were not exported at that time.
This is really a huge deal but apparently Yahoo has no sense of responsibility for what they've done. They don't mind spying on us, reading our messages with algorithms that steal our information and shove marketing garbage in our face, trying to push us to make Yahoo our homepage, and so much more, but they also have no problem deleted using data and then sending their robots to respond with pre-formatted emails that have NOTHING to do with the issue. I'm truly livid about this because like Kristine said in her post here, and others have said elsewhere, I stored a lot of very important information in Contacts without email addresses. All but one of my doctors are gone now along with all of the historic notes I made in those records. Businesses I work with that I never email but had their phone numbers, my account numbers, and much more - all gone.

I need to make an airline reservation now and my southwest airline contact is NOT THERE! it has my account #. Could it be b/c it doesn't have an associated email address that Yahoo decided it wasn't important!?!?!

It looks to me like Yahoo deleted all of my Contacts that didn't have an email address in them!! Seriously?? Now an email address is required to save a new Contact? WHY????
I had contacts for my doctors and other medical facilities and lots of other stuff where I stored important notes and encoded login information but NO EMAIL cause I don't email my doctors or hospitals. Why did you delete them?? How am I supposed to get that information now????
