  3. Spam

    After inquiring about spam that really wasn’t a problem, my spam increased exponentially. You guys must have given out/sold my email address. DON’T DO THAT! I’m switching to Proton mail.

  4. Why can’t I delete emails any longer… why is there a checkbox in front of each email? Why do you kept asking me to sign in when I am logged

    I can’t do anything in yahoo mail any longer… can’t delete… stupid checkboxes displayed that I can’t eliminate… and you keep telling me to log in when I AM logged in… I’m over it yahoo….

  5. I hate the new layout. How do I go back to the old layout with the preview window?

  6. New Version vs Basic Version

    Yahoo recently reverted back to the new version and it sucks! In the past I’ve gone into settings and changed it back. This time there is NO setting for basic. Even though Yahoo still recommends this fix. So. Incredibly. Frustrating.

    PLEASE make the basic mobile browser version accessible and when a user chooses it in settings, leave it be.

  9. Filters on iPad

    Okay, I have an iPad and iPhone nothing else. I was told that filters don’t work on it he app have to use a desktop. I downloaded the chrome app and typed in the yahoo mail in address bar, clicked request desktop version, and guess what……nothing happened, still can’t get to find filters. I have a feeling that I’m not getting all my emails back from recipients and I can’t check to see if there is a filter that I don’t know about. This is totally frustrating and unacceptable.

  12. App keeps crashing

    Yahoo mail app keeps crashing on my Samsung Galaxy S24 ultra, app updated on 21 Feb 2024. I have restarted phone and cleared cashe, doesn't fix issue. Phone states that app has bugs and to update app after you fix the bugs with the app!!

  13. App won't open

    I've been happily using the app for a couple of years, it's been fine. Suddenly it won't open. I've done all the obvious stuff (restart, clear cache, delete data, reinstall). And it still won't open.

    Why not? How do I fix it?

    I'm running Android 12 on a fairphone 4

  14. VALID Passwords are often REJECTED on new Sign-In devices...

    Yahoo, please let users KNOW, with a brief, automated email, as to why you are no longer accepting a user's perfectly valid Sign-In Password.

    I hope Yahoo will simply send a brief email "PASSWORD REJECTED" and include a reasonable explanation. Devices I "secure" through other layers of protection still function normally. (Most of these other "secure" devices have been allowed to internally store that same, supposedly INVALID password and they ALL still automatially sign me in.)

    I've had this happen numerous times when I've had to use a new device to access my mail via the yahoo.com/mail URL.

  17. Spam filter is extremely irritating, tends to mark genuine mails repeatedly as spam, with auto deletion after some days

    1) Replies from an email ID received in response to email sent from yahoo mail, with same subject, are automatically marked spam (!)

    2) Emails from the regustered personal recovery alternate email ID are marked spam (!!)

    3) Despite repeated insistence marking "this is not spam" in emauls auto diverted to spam folder, yahoo keeps doing the same mistake. In other words, spam filter NEVER tries to learn from user input (!!!)

  18. Please reinstall my old emails and notes. I have lost a decade of notes from my phone as it is setup from this yahoo email.

    My notes and Dropbox were originally setup with this email and it has been wiped I need everything reinstated please!! Someone please help. I have important notes missing and I have had them for decades on here.

  20. I used to send myself emails I needed to convert in other programs not on my phone, now I can’t access this. ITS BS! I’m not paying upgrade!

    I’m not going to pay for yahoo+ to access my own information via email. I.e. photos, important, documents, receipts, or statements. We already pay internet and a bunch of other ****. You should get your cut there. Return everything back or ppl will stop using email sooner or later.
