I'm reporting a glitch
This is not an 'idea'; I just can't find the proper channel to report a glitch (so maybe this is an idea for improvement-make it easier to/clearer how to report a bug).
For the last few days 'search' in Yahoo mail has been functioning poorly. When I enter a keyword I'll get somewhere between 2 to 8 results from roughly the past 2 months. Below that will be the blue ring going around in circles indicating that Yahoo mail's search program/algorithm is still looking for earlier messages containing my keyword...but nothing ever happens - no older messages ever appear and…389th ranked -

I have automatically generate previews switched off in my settings, but previews are generating and there is no way to delete them.
If I have "automatically generate previews" switched off in my settings, links should not generate previews in my emails. Also, there is no way to delete the preview in my composed email. Please fix so that I can at least delete them. Thank you.

The new yahoo is a downgrade I am missing many functions the old one had. Is there an option to help fix the interface?

I can't find anything, this new one looks like freakin gmail, Change it back right now! Actually this new enhanced one is even worse, go back to the basic basic classic, stop changing stuff!!

Stop changing things without email users permission, we use it because we like it.
Who exactly thought that oversized buttons, no separation between years of messages, and plastic cartoon backgrounds was a good idea, and when did WE vote for him to have the ability to change OUR email?? Seriously, did you guys hire a 12 year old who thought Paypal changes that we still cannot stand would be a good idea on email?? If I wanted it adapted to someone else, then it wouldn't be my email, now would it?Really fantastic way to move everyone to Gmail right??

Why can we not control which folders we see in the left-hand column?
We have had a bunch of useless folders forced on us - Unread, Starred, Views, etc - and there is no way to get rid of them. They prevent us from seeing folders we've set up. Please change the system so that we choose the folders we want displayed.

The New Yahoo! Mail is Slower
In addition to having visual features that make thing worse (for example, I can see fewer e-mails on my screen at once), the new Mail is slower and more cumbersome. It marks things as read that the old one did not, thus messing up my visual "to-do list" uses.

Offer people the option of the previous version
This newest version is slow. It has many quirks. The features have been moved so that you have to click more often to access them. The "ribbon" above the mail section from where you can access "Yahoo! Answers" has been removed and it is harder to go to Yahoo! Answers when you want to.
Just who's idea was it to "Improve" Yahoo! by this version? It is not better it is worse, much worse.251st ranked -

Why is the technology that allows emails to be filed in folders not working?
Why are there so many days, such as today, when files in the Inbox cannot be filed to the appropriate folders? This happens several times a month.

Stop changing
Stop messing around with the mail. The only reason I went with Yahoo to begin with, was the layout. I hate outlook, and I hate this new set up. I think you should ask people what they think before you change it! This is ********!
