remove the stay logged in function
The removal of the stay logged in function (at least its default of BEING CHECKED every time I want to log in) would be great. Here's how to look at it...it's an OPTIONAL function and you SHOULD CHECK IT IF YOU WANT TO STAY LOGGED IN. Hence, it would get used as desired just that once...as opposed to me who DOESN'T want to stay logged in and I have to un-check it EVERY TIME I LOG IN. Default should be the OTHER WAY AROUND (un-checked and used if desired), not be checked and have to un-check it every time I want to log in.

So very true. I think this is just lazy programmers. I get nasty reminders when I forget to "sign out" and just close the browser. Everybody else just lets the connection go, so why not Yahoo????????

I completely agree with you. Am sick and tired of Yahoo changing everything for their own Communist BS Reasons without Real People being asked how to improve and/or keep the best of their functions. They got Googled and MSNBCed. And both Google and Microsoft Mail have the worst email functions anywhere!! Am still trying out how to stop their own Shadow Banning of Real People from their Comments' Boards! Thanks!!

I have used Yahoo for many years and may try to find something else as many of my contacts were just not there anymore; I had folders with things saved in them, now they are empty. That has been very distressing and certainly not an improvement. I will see with this comment if it's been ignored unless I sign up for something. Of course, I have to sign up for user voice etc.

I completely agree with this. In this day and age when cybersecurity if a major issue, why is Yahoo! helping hackers out by making our email accounts "stay logged in" by default?
I agree the box should be "unchecked" by default, so I don't accidentally forgot to "uncheck" it when I am in a hurry. Thank you.
