When you decide to ban someone from commenting, provide details
I was apparently banned recently from commenting. I never use profanity, and always try to work work around the expansive - and growing - list of words flagged. But yesterday I logged on only to find that any comment I posted was being rejected, and in fact all my previous comments - spanning years - had been removed("rejected"). I got no explanation, other than the "your comment is rejected", and have no idea if I'm permanently banned, or for how long I've been banned, much less why I am banned.

Me too. Everything I post is rejected. I'm beginning to think your reviewers are crooked. I posted a comment almost word for word that someone else did. Mine was rejected. Theirs wasn't. What's up with that? A simple non controversial comment gets rejected while some people's nasty comments are okayed. Do better please or you will lose lots of readers.

Yahoo needs to specifically list the reason for rejecting a comment instead of "your comment violates community guidelines". I have commented "hi" and it was immediately rejected.

Other than "violating community guidelines", Yahoo never gives specific reasons why a comment was rejected. I have nt used profanity or called others names but apparently, there are words that gets a comment rejected. However, I have seen rude and inappropriate comments published. Yahoo needs to re-consider its policies and algorithms.
