"Our goal is to create a safe and engaging place for users to connect..." So, Yahoo, how are you accomplishing that goal?

I believe the Yahoo censors react like sensitive children. I don't think many adults would be so critical and thin-skinned.

Yahoo is more liberal than they should be for on news articles. They censor comments for conservatives while allowing liberals to say the exact same thing.

You ban comments that contain the 7 words you cant say on tv, but articles routinely have false information, curse words. For instance an article yesterday about shocking stuff was almost entirely about people posting about people pooping everywhere. Gross

Welp, I'm off to MSN I'll check back with you later.

Stop censoring comments - people have the right to express themselves without the Yahoo police kicking off comments that are honest and fair. The truth doesn't seem to matter to Yahoo - they just want to protect their big money pals!

Yahoo keeps kicking my comments off. I never use improper language but am forthright about my opinions - I keep it clean and honest yet they remove my comments all the time-no matter how light the subject matter may be. The truth is not what they want you to speak.

Here's an example of how the Openweb censor bots are ruining comment boards, I got this email almost a month after I posted the comment.
Your comment on Kyle Shanahan: I do believe Deebo Samuel will get a deal violates the community guidelines and has been rejected

Players don't really have as much leverage in this situation as his agent would like for him to think. If he holds out, he forfeits the final year of his rookie contract, meaning he will have to wait one more year before achieving free agent status, and loses a year seniority towards retirement benefits. -

I am not sure how you screen your comments. You recently rejected one of mine. Someone had posted a comment which was largely unintelligible and my reply was "Huh?". Is that *really* so terrible? Also, I would like to know what, if any, procedure you have for restoring a comment that has been reported but which, (upon review?) you determine to be acceptable. It looks like I could go through comments making reports on anything I don't like so I can get rid of any comment with which I don't agree.

I see a lot of rightwingers calling people names on these boards.

This is ridiculous. Stop censoring people.

Your opinion checkers rival Twitter. You bury anything that contradicts your management ordered biased reporting

I want comments on all articles. If a person cannot avoid reading the comment section if it distresses them, that person should probably avoid the internet altogether.

They're been working on this "temporary" article suspension and working towards this "goal" for over 3 years now. That should tell you about the level of "competence" that is employed at yahoo...
You'd sooner be able to get back to living in Chernobyl before yahoo allows article commenting again for all its users and not just the liberal left communists.

Your goal is another bs lie.

Yahoo appears to be the most anti speech forum on the planet. I can't wait until they bust down on you like they are Facebook and Twitter. You are worse than both of those combined. Do you just have some lazy reviewers that randomly kick posts to make their stupid jobs as easy as they are lazy? I can't even say I disagree with a post without the lazy ***** kicking it off. Most of the posts that you say violates guidelines is absolutely a lie. What a worthless piece of Russian control here, stifling speech that in no way violates your bs guidelines. Meanwhile you have asshats talking all kinds of ****, harassing and bullying people with their bs and you allow it. Third world, communist Russia, China Yahoo. You only ******** and their propaganda bs to be posted.

Yahoo has totally banned me from article commenting for no reason other than I present actual facts and a logical counter-argument: no threats, no ads, no propaganda. Right now, I can type in "Good morning, America" and the comment is automatically rejected. How is that a "safe and engaging place for users"?

Nope, they are cherry-picking, or it’s at the author’s discretion, if you want to give Yahoo that benefit of the doubt.
