Stop only allowing one side to comment on your articles. You let liberal people say almost anything, but when a non liberal posts facts in the comment area, they are either blocked immediately, or deleted after passing your first level of censorship. Yahoo always had a bad reputation for this, but it rarely happened to me. Unless this changes, I will take my business elsewhere, where news is not one sided propaganda.

Taking your business elsewhere wont change anything. Everyone would have to do that for real change, and if it's one thing we can all agree on, it's that none of us agree with the other side. Change here starts in a federal courthouse for gross constitutional violations. Last I checked, this was still America, and Americans still had freedom of speech that was protected.

Yahoo comments are run by the company OpenWeb, not yahoo.
OpenWeb's "AI" is extremely faulty, and their "Moderators" uneducated and/or ignorant.Often, a slight change in grammar (like hyphens or such) will make the difference between accepted & rejected comments.
People should start bombarding OpenWeb with complaints regarding comment rejection.

Yahoo must be run by men in dresses lol. They hate it when facts tell you men can never really become women.
Vot Republican for our children and common sense. -

The irony is that every issue on their platform is about them censoring. These people are begging to be targeted the way they target others, I think they all need to be identified and held accountable. Lock them up or get these weak emotional braindead people the mental therapy they need. They think they can sit in ivory towers and tell people what to say and think and don't realize how fragile and vulnerable they are. They don't realize their are consequences for their actions and they are not safe playing games behind closed doors.

I find Yahoo to be kind of unique in that they do a fair job of hitting the high spots of the news cycle. So there is decent selection from the public discourse for discussion, which is the purpose here -- discussion. Yahoo will never have the resources to invest in top notch original journalism, or not for a while anyway.

the word "oaf" "dastardly" and "Ham-fisted" "verbal kung fu" seemingly violate Openweb & yahoo community guidelines. ...
these are very common words, normal, non offensive words, yet seemingly trigger the A.I. bots "Certain parts of your comment may include inappropriate language. Please revise to take part in the conversation." warning.
mind you the whole and full comments where...quote me:
"a no2 pencil... just as dastardly."
"that sign, seems ham-fisted."
"if you swore an oath, don't be an oaf."
"alright enough verbal kung fu".all those comments where blocked / rejected, or until figured out what may have wrongly triggered your bots to block my comment.
i cannot help but feel a great aversion
to using the yahoo news and comment features, if such common, non offensive words and sentences are forbidden to be used.thank you..

Same has happened to me. Doesn't matter what I post. I could say "hello" and it gets rejected. It's CENSORSHIP plain and simple. I've made comments that do not go against the community standards, but go against Yahoo's liberal censors so I'm banished. PATHETIC!

Yahoo is an equal opportunity censor. Once you have been sentenced to censor purgatory, it's close to impossible to get out.

This is really, (other than a level of near worshipful sycophancy in your journalism towards and for one side of the great socio-political divide that close on rivals a North Korean military officer interested in keeping his head), a great disservice to your readership. I came back after years of your complete comments blackout, likely enacted to influence the presidential election and midterms, as only the one sided heavily slanted reporting and "journalism" survived, that really reads like a kind of socio-political engineering project for bored billionaires and their minions rather than an honest effort at creating a news site impartially focused on the issues of the day, common good and welfare of Americas Citizenry, and an impartial platform on which to freely comment and share ideas of import. It's sadly become in large apparent part a tool for one side of the dialogue, and that is really so dangerous, against everything we believed we stood for, and often near criminally negligent. Pitting citizens against one another while tying one sides arm behind their collective back with a kind of sensationalist yellow journalism type of reporting coupled with a biased censor platform is cowardly bullying behaviour. period. I've been heavily censored since returning to yahoo's news pages, and can see no reasonable cause for such, but rather a concerted effort to ***** the narrative. Yahoo denies this of course, and if so, if you resort to gaslighting to support your chosen agenda, then what makes that agenda you are carrying water for so repellent, so dangerous to our Republic that that becomes, in yahoos way of "thinking", necessary. Just thinking out loud here, contrarians are of course more than welcome, and yeah, I'm likely closing both my paid yahoo plus email account and readership of your media as well, although "hanging in there" and making my voice heard as clearly as your censors see fit to allow is i believe important, yahoo just doesn't pass the smell test and is no longer worthy of substantive support. Just my couple cents in the pot, don't censor me now!

Liberals get censored by yahoo as well. I know I'm one of them.

It's actually how conservatives tend to write their comments, not that they comment. You have a common blindspot in that regard.

It's happening to me also. I don't plan to stay very long. We may move our Fantasy Sports somewhere else too.

I keep getting flagged for inappropriate comments despite no profanity, no threats, no intimidation. I'm a conservative, and for some reason Yahoo hates conservative opinions. Tired of seeing liberals get away with bullying and Yahoo turning a blind eye.
