New yahoo
2024 New Yahoo is terrible!!! I'm actually considering leaving it out of my news roll of which it is a staple. Absolutely hate this new setup.

I agree the NEW My Yahoo home page is a BIG step backward. I have been a loyal Yahoo customer from the VERY beginning of your existence. Never expected to say this, but if you replace the current features with your NEW, Better version, good luck with who you think you're serving. For one, I will NOT LONGER be a Yahoo customer and will do my best to refer to the downfall of a once great technology company. Good luck with your advertising strategy!

I cannot figure a way to keep my rss feeds. This will probably drive me away from Yahoo as my home/start page. bring rss back

I do NOT like the new Yahoo home page, and find it pedestrian, cluttered, and totally uninteresting. I really wish you'd go back to the "old" Yahoo home page that was here before. I liked the background options of the original Yahoo homepage, and I don't like all the clutter of the "new" look. Very disapointed. I have been using Yahoo as my "cover" or home page for years....but not anymore. :-(

Keep My Yahoo for those of us who have been using it for years, and allow people to switch to your new format if they wish. Let people vote with their feet so to speak to see who supports being able to choose their stories based on interest in Science, Technology, Economics, etc., or try to force people to use a page driven by AI bots and watch them leave in droves.

You are the best start home page out there. Do Not follow the garbage websites out there and take away my yahoo. Your users will leave!

I agree and will do the same.

Seconded. My Yahoo is the only reason I even bother with Yahoo any more. Being able to select which RSS feeds are on my home page is the main reason I've even kept visiting Yahoo for the last 20 years.

Please say it isn't so! I've looked at this new Yahoo page and can't find anything that I like about it. From the fact that it is no longer customizable with the content that I want, to the fact that you have to scroll FOREVER to see what's in the middle column, it just seem worthless to me. Why mess with something that worked for so many people? DO NOT IMPLEMENT THIS CHANGE!

Do NOT get rid of "myYahoo!" I've looked at your "new" Yahoo, and it gives me NOTHING to replace the existing myYahoo. Stop trying to force feed me what you think I should be looking at. I want to be able to select RSS feeds from news and other websites I'm interested in without you trying to tell me what you think they should be. If you force this on me, I will not be viewing the new yahoo site (I don't look at "yahoo" already), and I WILL be finding a new mail provider, even if it's Google.

If i can't customize my home page, there is not reason for me to use Yahoo at all.

Hi all,
Doubt this will be read with all the negative, as this is also negative. New Yahoo is not any different than MSN, Onion, etc. Just a bunch of stuff that may or may not appeal to me. I do not plan to use it. I get all that **** through the little things that is hard to turn off on my PC toolbar.
Here is what is not being explained well. On MY YAHOO page, I have the following in plain sight:
- Calendar: Do I retain my calendar? If not, I can go elsewhere. I connected the calendar to my phone app, and just about every other site is easier to connect.
- Bookmarks: Do I retain my bookmarks? If not, my browser will do it in a less convenient way. I can go elsewhere now. I am updating my browser with the bookmarks.
- Financial Feed: Do I retain my "at a glance" financial feed showing how my stock day is going? I know I can always go to eTrade, but then why do I need yahoo?
- Sports Updates: Do I retain my favorite team outcomes? If not, I have to go elsewhere, so I don't need yahoo.
- Local Weather: Less relevant now as I cannot escape it on everything I own, but handy still.
Based on the general responses, seems like yahoo is about to die it's final death. Nice job Verizon. I have been busy pulling my various information bits onto other feeds today.
Please take the time to let the users whom have been here for decades what you plan to do with the old feeds. Then we can decide how to address this little hiccup in life.

New format is absolute trash. Have been using My Yahoo as home page for years. I love how my home page looks and the way it can be customized. Don't mess with a winner just for the sake of change that probably most users do not want. Will look around for a new home page but doubt if I will find anything as good.

My yahoo is my yahoo because I chose what is relevant to me. Getting rid of it and replacing it with the new yahoo that feeds me stuff that I may or may not want, is a terrible idea. If you get rid of my yahoo, there is no reason for me to stay with yahoo.
