Ads must not have volume. I keep my email up all day every day.
Ads must not have volume! I currently, keep my email up all day every day. This week The ads have started yelling out at random intervals. Suddenly, from out of the office comes an a guy yelling about garbage. This is disruptive. Settings in Yahoo Mail does not allow me to just turn email volume down and I don't want to mute my entire computer. So I will have to log off my email and only log on intermittently.

Deal From advertising
I now get advertising at the top of a lot of my emails with "Deals from".
I have tried to turn these off several times and the privacy settings don't appear to work.
I have to scroll through a page of advertising on my phone to get to the actual email. Happy to send screenshots.
I have cancelled a number of email subscriptions with your partners where I get this "Deals from" advertising, and people are complaining on Reddit about this, so it's really backfired on you!

Offer a "Group by Date" TURN OFF option.
On accounts where emails are minimal, the date headers are an eyesore. We need an option to turn it off (like group by conversation).
Searching online to see how to disable it, I see many users who do not want grouping by Date. Please make it optional.147th ranked -

stop forcing us to disable ad block
I have had my yahoo account since 2004. I have only seen the yahoo mail service continue to worsen and the only reason I kept it previously was because I had assigned important contacts and subscriptions to it in the past. But rather than attempt to keep longstanding users, or even reward them, we are instead punished for using adblock. Allow my adjusting it to screen size.
It's one size fits all design is unsatisfactory. I have a 17-inch screen and I cannot view the entire Yahoo Mail page at one time. I must view left to right on every line. I cannot take that much time to read Emails. I can see it all at one glance on my smartphone though. Get it right.
