The new mail sucks
stop making the new mail change mailboxes on mobile. how can I go back to the old mail on my phone? I hate this so much.

Get rid of split screen.... PLEASE
The split screen is terrible. Every time I grab a message and then move it over to put into one of my Folders, the split screen shows up. I can't get the message into the folders with Drag and Drop anymore!!!! This is so annoying. PLEASE get rid of that split screen. Or make it a button you push if you want to have split screen. Thank You.

Sorting emails alphabetically.
How about making searching through your email inbox more simplified and LESS time consuming? It used to be easier when my emails were sorted by sender. That way I could look for what I needed and ignore the rest. Now it takes me three times as long to find that ONE email I need to read because it's buried in the middle of a thousand other emails. It is NOT an improvement.

Make it possible to filter to your Inbox again
One of my news senders is constantly sent to my Spam folder, even though they're in my Contacts. I used to be able to create a filter that would ensure that certain senders are sent to my Inbox, but now "Inbox" isn't a filter folder option. Please return "inbox" to the filter folder options, because Gmail definitely offers this functionality and this is making me crazy.

New Calendar Format is TERRIBLE!
Why do you insist in BREAKING things that are functioning VERY WELL!?!?!?
The NEW Calendar's Garish Colors are VERY ******* the eyes and there are FEWER OF THEM!
The Description Box for events no longer accepts information to be PASTED into it!
Almost every time I open my calendar it reverts to Day or Week View - even after I have selected MONTH!
By the Way - the NEW MAIL format is also AWFUL!
Please Add useful features - like showing how many message are in the SPAM folder rather than changing things just to make them look different!

User interface
PLEASE return to "old" Yahoo. I despise the "new" Yahoo. Gray everywhere. AWFUL design (and I am a designer). Why can you not get this right??? I am sticking with "old" Yahoo for now but I know you will eventually force me into the "new" one. Perhaps that will be the final straw that kicks me out of Yahoo. I don't know. I have a webmail that I like -- in some ways not as good but in other ways BETTER. Why don't you ever ask us why we like other emails better? That might give you a clue for…

Allow applying filter to the inbox like outlook does
Allow applying filters to the inbox like outlook does. e. g. I created a filter to move messages from a particular sender to the trash folder. But it does not do this for existing messages. I have to select 50 messages at a time (since there were more than 4000 messages, I spent a lot of time deleting all the messages matching this criteria)

Your spam filter is causing a lot of trouble
I can't even create a filter where a particular sender's email is directed to inbox. Inbox cannot be chosen as a folder infilters. Even though I have the sender's name in the contact list it always sending it to spam. It is very difficult. Trying to train the spam filter not to categorise something as not a spam doesn't seem to work.

Calendar view default now stuck on Weekly, I want Monthly.
I have been using Yahoo Mail and Calendar for DECADES. Now, all of a sudden, the default view of the Calendar is Weekly and there does not seem to be a way to make it DEFAULT to Monthly.

The new Yahoo calendar SUCKS!
HERE is an IDEA, give me the option of using the OLD Calendar, which was much better. You upgrade for the sake of upgrading, which is NOT GOOD. Give me the option to keep as is. THe old calendar was AWESOME. THe new one SUCKS. This will probably get me to use my Google calendar and dump YAHOO. BTW, the new Yahoo mail is not good either.

Allow my Outlook mail to access my Yahoo Mail. I have used up all the 3rd party passwords and restarted this program.
Fix your program to allow Outlook Mail to access my Yahoo mail. My Yahoo mail says Outlook mail has access to my Yahoo account but it does not as Yahoo keep rejecting my outlook download process.

Ability to disable colors for Yahoo Desktop Calendar Events
I want to be able to disable colors for a specific calendar using Yahoo desktop. For my primary calendar I find that any of the colors available make it hard to read the details of the calendar event. I used your Help chat feature and it told me that there is no way to disable the color for a specific calendar. There is only a way to change the color which I know how to do.

Lost emails
Yahoo literally lost hundreds of saved emails that I stored in folders. These emails were both confidential and business oriented. When I noticed it, it was already too late to have them retrieved. Checking my folders everyday is not something I usually do. I also didn't back them up because I have Yahoo + and they should have them on a server for me. Apparently not!!!! Once I move all of the emails that are left, I'm going to gmail. Watch out.

Calendar
I would like the current month to come up when going to calendar, not the week. It used to, why the unwanted change. Give us the option to change it.
