BRING BACK STATIONERY AND GIFS!
What the actual heck? I kept thinking my stationery and gif icons were lost in an update, but now I see they have been permanently removed. I loved both and used them daily. It might be time to quit paying.

Remove the overlay offering help with composing email. It block the attachment.
Remove the overlay on draft email that offers help with composing email. It blocks the attachment I am adding. I can't verify that I added the right file without closing the overlay. One more frustration I don't need.

get rid of the box on the right that pops up when doing a search for emails from a contact. I don't want or need the information. I want to be able to read the emails in order and the box takes up 1/3 of the screen

Get rid of useless tags
Get rid of unsolicited and useless tags that are not even accurate, like the "Great Savings!" annoying tag that gets added to my receipts for my iCloud account which are not discounted, so are not a Great Savings and are therefore meaningless.

Restore the stationery feature. It was very useful and unique among email systems.

Fix reply and forward functions, which sometimes allow only ONE LINE responses
In recent weeks I've come to realize that the Reply and Forward functions no longer operate reliably. On some occasions when using one of these I'll type a salutation, then hit return to type the message, and find that I can only type ONE LINE. These are pretty basic functions and I see no common thread for why they sometimes just halt. Later I may go into Drafts and be able to continue (or not), but this is happening fairly often, so it needs to be addressed.

Have the ability to sort emails by sender so I can read all by (home Depot for example or by costco) also lets me delete by sender
AT@T lets me sort emails by sender so I can delete all by name or read all emails sent to me by a specific sender. Makes cleaning up emails faster and cleaner.

How can I delete my account? I have tried and tried
