When will the "Generate App Password" feature be fixed?
All of a sudden the App(lication) password feature stopped working. What are your plans to get it working again ?

OMFG, since May 2021 are you kidding me???? took them 1 whole freaking year yet still not solution?
Is yahoo mail planning to loose millions of its subscribers? ******* the only reason i hate to move is my linkedin, facebook has all been using my yahoo email address....i guess i need to start to use my other emails when registering for stuffs from now on.....goodbye yahoo...it has been a great 20+ years run -

New Laptop... al set up... except my e mail because the generate app password functionality is busted. Read up on it. Has been out since May 2021? Please fix this or risk losing a 20+ year customer. Given that this has been out since May, I'm guessing this will fall on deaf ears, but woth a shot.

You really need to get this fixed, trying to use Yahoo to send and receive E Mails really sucks.

The fixing of this issue really should not take that long, especially as the use in Microsoft Outlook has always been slow or connected with technical flaws and difficulties, in short: a long-known inconvenient topic.

I was just told by their customer non-service department that the engineers are working to fix this issue but they have no time line on when or how and they act like they are not even sorry that it happened. I use it for my business and now I have to do something totally different. I have been with yahoo for years but when they do stuff like this with no warning, it makes me want to migrate my emails to another platform and shut this account down. All of my customers have this email address and it is on all of my correspondence. This sucks.

It has been down for around 4 months with no ETA on it being fixed. At this point about to migrate my email to another platform and just drop Yahoo all together.

Yahoo has been good t me all these years ... however, to disable a feature without having an alternative available is just dumb right now. Yahoo! be encouraged an dow something about this
