    fix ASAP. If Yahoo insists in not working with Outlook then I will eliminate my Yahoo account and move to another provider. This is a sham and I don't like it after being with Yahoo mail for decades!
    Hello Yahoo are you listening?? Maybe I need to place a complaint with the Florida Attorney General's office.

    This is appalling.
    I spoke with Yahoo help desk. First was told to try a different computer and browser. Then told it will just happen if I keep trying. When asked how long, perhaps a month of trying was the answer.

    They kept telling me to use the web browser.

    Really does seem that they don't want us using Outlook. So, many years of use coming to an end, off to another email provider.

    Seems I am at the end of a long line of similar complaints - replaced PC and need to set Outlook up to bring in emails from yahoo - seems I need to generate this app password and it does not work. Used to poll emails from Yahoo using POP3, although now only IMAP seems available - if not fixed the solution is change email.

    This problem is there for several years and either Yahoo or Microsoft not resolving this.

    Can Yahoo fix ASAP the problem of generate password for third party?

    It should be so difficult to fix it. Yahoo should give prompt feedback on this issue, for the sake of its good image.

    I use this email to send invoices from QuickBooks and haven't been able to generate a password for the last 6 months. This should be more of a priority to get this issue fixed. I've called about 5 times and every time customer services tells me we just have to wait until the engineers fix it. As a plus member this is ridiculous there should be a solution already for this issue at least something temporary for your users.

    Just spent another 15min on the call with Yahoo. This is really annoying, they know it is an issue and it has started in September.
    @Yahoo: Please wake up, this creates a poor user experience - Webmail was used 20 years ago. Please provide work-arounds or make an upgrade

    Third party app password generation tool is not been working for a long time. Please solve the issue as a priority, it hampers lots of work.
