I just want to log in and view my email. Why can I not skip over the function and update asking for my profile picture. This is ridiculous. It’s not Facebook or Twitter. I am using my email for business or personal but I don’t want people seeing my face. I definitely have not changed my language so just the leave account as is.

Don’t say it is about security. People make up dumb names and upload shadows of a photo too. That is simply a placeholder and it gets allowed. How my information (that you already have when the account was created) be left alone? I was still born the same year…
