Can Not Add Recovery Phone Number My Yahoo Account

I can not add yahoo mail recovery phone number of my yahoo mail account.When i try add phone number then, i see this word- Invalid Phone Number.
Please help me.

    WHY can't WE add our Contact #, and WHY must it be A Mobile? Not everyone Wants to own one

    Got the same problem,,
    Keeps saying invalid no. I am using the correct prefix (aus) and deleting the '0'

    Had to sign up for Yahoo's customer support in order to speak to a human. Yahoo system keeps saying that my cell number is a VOIP number. it is not. All Tech support said was that they couldn't add it either. Worthless! I share your misery.
