You can improve by being LESS like Comcast, instead of becoming MORE like Comcast.
I just realized that I have been paying $5/month for Yahoo, instead of the $35/year that is occasionally advertised. When I called about this, I was told that the $35 is not available to me, even though I have been a Yahoo member since the very beginning, and have been paying for it since Yahoo started to charge for the service.
The person I talked to said that it might be possible to work something out, if I started to subscribe to a "package", and at that point I told him to stop. I do not want to open any subscriptions to "packages". Packages are the trademark of Comcast, which invented them, and is now almost dead because of them. Please do not follow Comcast marketing practices.
AT&T just installed fiber in front of my house, and I was seriously considering it, but now I will NEVER sign up for ANYTHING from AT&T, even if it is a superior product. You have either been bought by Comcast, or installed too many former Comcast managers in your ranks, or have been sold a bill-of-goods about Comcast marketing by some management consulting team. Please stop. One Comcast was enough, for all of mankind. We don't need another.
