5. I cannot download S&P 500 Total Return data - but I can write a Python script and do so.

   Seriously, I am unable download the S&P 500 Total Return data (^SP500TR) from Yahoo Finance or AlphaSpace.

   That's ridiculous! I used to be able to do this is Yahoo Finance.

   I tried in AlphaSense. I can't do it. I asked customer service and was told it cannot be done, and was sent to a super lame data limitations page. That's a terrible response. A $500 a year product cannot do a simple request.

   Yet, I can get this data with a Python script --- for free! (See below)

   Why would anyone want to pay for AlphaSpace if you can't do simple things well? (Not to mention, Zacks Research needs a straw because it sucks. You are making investors dumber with garbage robo-research.)

   I canceled my AlphaSpace subscription.

   Here's the Python Script that got me the data I needed:

6. Trendlines need to be saved per stock

   When I draw a trendline on a stock chart it carries over to the next stock I look at. I need to be able to anchor them to the specific stock I am creating it on or it looses its benefit, I can't use the trendlines to track how that stock is performing relative to its trendlines. I used your AI help and this is what it said:

7. Day Gainers Screener Refresh Rate is Too Slow for Active Trading Use

   The Day Gainers screener panel in AlphaSpace currently has a refresh cycle of 57+ minutes, which makes it effectively unusable for premarket and intraday momentum scanning. For a premium platform, this is a significant gap.

   What I need: Real-time or sub-minute refresh rates on screener panels — particularly Day Gainers, Most Actives, and any momentum-based screener used for active market monitoring.

   Why it matters: Premarket movers can spike and reverse within minutes. A screener that updates once per hour misses the entire move. Competing platforms refresh screeners every 5–15 seconds as a baseline. AlphaSpace should match or exceed that standard given its premium positioning.

   Requested improvement:

   Sub-minute (ideally real-time) refresh on all screener panels
   Optional user-controlled refresh interval setting (e.g. 15s / 30s / 1min / 5min)
   Visual timestamp showing when the screener last updated so users know data freshness at a glance

   This needs to update faster. for a premium platform Gold, 57+ min to update is unacceptable.

8. Better research

   Alphasense does not even realize how terrible it is. The ratings and analyst reports are garbage. No top-tier equity analysis with real analysis. Yahoo continues to broadcast bottom tier robo-research like Zacks and Insider Monkey. What a disappointment for a premium paid-product. This is just Yahoo Finance free version with a fancy interface. Lame. I can't even download historical prices of S&P500 total return data.

10. Screeners not working as expected and it's really frustrating.

    Like if I select Morning 5-Star ratings, it says 87 results but shopws only 5, when I change the page settings from 25 to 50 then it says your session is expired. I triws login in a new browser Safari but still the same issue. Same happens when I add columns in my report. Pls help me to take the optimal usage of this.

12. Model portfolios built with percentage weights

    I purchased the Gold tier assuming I could build a model portfolio with percentage weights as opposed to shares purchased on a specific day to reflect what I want to see. This would be very beneficial for what I am using it for. I would be able to refer many many people in my circle that would find this very useful as well. I would be a repeat customer if this feature could be added, if not I will likely cancel my subscription.

13. Custom fields don't work

    I had subscribed to alphaspace assuming that i could prepare screeners pretty easily -- but this product is not really ready to use -- many bugs. none of the custom fields work -- there is no space for adding custom conditions for screens. i wanted to lower my subscription but you guys don't allow that on the app. can you please help me with this -- shiv10@yahoo.com

14. Ideas below

    1) While prompting about AI related energy companies, I asked to create a watchlist from the prompt. The chat agent accepted by prompt , but looks like you do not have that API integrated, hence gave me an error. In these scenarios , it would be better to tell user that "creating watchlist is not currently supported"

    2) There is no support for options currently. If you add this feature it would expand to a lot more options traders

20. add a way to put a note on each stock in a portfolio

    Need a way to add a note to stocks listed in a person's portfolio. This would be simple text at a minimum, linked to the ticker. A nice-to-have is the ability to include screenshots or active links in the field. This would allow notes on entry, exit, and trading journal-type content.
