And that, ladies and gents, is why Yahoo is up for sale. ******* off the customer base, removing attractive features, bait-and-switch articles, and the apparent lack of feedback are the best and fastest ways to make sure that anyone's business fail and everyone at Yahoo knows it. Once Marissa Mayer returns, all that's left for her will be to collect millions of her unearned dollars and giving her successor the task of cleaning up the many messes she made.
I still use Yahoo for email and Dear Abby, but that's it. Before the new (failed) layout, I used to enjoy scrolling the news feed at the top of the page. Now? Though I do use Yahoo for email, AOL is smart enough to make sure their homepage is easy on the eyes and, yes, keeps their layout easy to use. At this point, I really could care less what Yahoo does. AOL is my new homepage . . .
just switched to AOL and the homepage is AMAZING!! clear, organized, concise and very easy to navigate. aside from email, AOL is now my official homepage
this new homepage is such a sore for sight eyes . . .
I'm in absolute agreement here, I'm not a big fan of the new homepage. I liked it so much better when I was able to scroll through the headlines by clicking the arrow on the right, when I could see the Garfield/Luann comics on the lower right hand side and seeing the Dear Abby topic each day. Now since they've changed it, I can't find any of those anywhere, save for typing it in Yahoo search (which, by the way, Google is infinitely better). They may or may not change it back, but at least I made my opinion known
