Despite what Yahoo says above the comment box in these forums ("Hi ... we are listening"), Yahoo obviously is not... or at least not reading the comments posted there. Perhaps a better option for those of us having concerns with the new design of the home page should comment via our Twitter or Tumbler feeds. Visit Yahoo's press release web site (which, you will note, does not have the "new" design and so is much easier to navigate) and you should be able to Tweet your comments there. At least it appears some of the Yahoo folks pay attention in that space.

Again, the new home page comes without market summary (in the right-hand column) or links to columnists. Has anyone tried searching (via the Yahoo search bar) "Yahoo changes home page" or ""how to get back to old Yahoo home page format"? No useful results at all. And the Yahoo Answers page is even worse.

The Yahoo Home page used to me a nice digest of articles, ads (yes, ads), weather, sports scores, market news (DJIA/NASDAQ) and perhaps a few "trending" items or videos. Now it is heavy videos, no sports summaries, no market information (the DOW was down 400 points a few minutes ago but nowhere on the Yahoo Home page (or Yahoo News page) was that noted anywhere. While there may be others who like the new format, I do think Yahoo could do its users a favor and at least give us a "return to classic home page" as it does for our email format. Just an idea.
